How can I store furnitures that aren't built?

I really want to store one of the furnitures that needs to be built with parts sent by friends but it doesnt work.
Can somebody tell me how to store the ones that arent built?

Unfortunately you only have the option to build or sell unbuilt furniture. If you finish building it you CMs store it.

Selling unbuilt furniture isn't even an option for some of my items...
