unable to purchase new food on each level change

As I increase levels, I am awarded new foods to cook, however they do not appearin my cookbook. Why is that? Thank u

Certain foods cook on different appliances. Each appliance has its own cookbook. You can have any mix of appliances up to the number that your level allows. So if you level allows you to have 5 appliances, you can have 5 stoves + 5 ovens + 5 grills, but you can only have 5 on the floor at one time, in any combination. Dont ever sell your appliances, store them for later. And dont store appliances that are cooking food, as you will lose the food.
