Besides buying the red flower with gems, any other ways to get red petal?

I tried old log and fern however chances are low, is there any other way I can get red petal easier?

I got a pink bush from an adventure this week. Maybe cross your fingers for one of those. They give red and white petals. Otherwise just keep chopping down logs and grass sometimes gives red petals too.
