Hi,

Now I want to quickly earn money for expand my restaurant. I have 21 appilances with the possibility to increase to 25. I did a program in java for calculate the best combinations recipes for maximize the day profit.

Firstly, I based with the "most efficient rs design" post: http://forum.storm8.com/showthread.php?23320-most-Efficient-RS-design-%28without-maths%29&p=216790&viewfull=1#post216790 for my calculations. In this post says that with the design proposed you can serve 45.000 plates in a day. (and yes, i also think that his design is the best). So my mision is with my appilances capacitiy do 45.000 plates with the maximum profit.

Then, i opened the famous shared database of recipes: http://story.sharpnetwork.net/ and ordered by "Profit/Srv" and the most profitable top recipes were:
http://i58.tinypic.com/hug5rp.png

Roast chciken is the best recipe to get more profit per serv. but takes 46 hours and only make 1.500 plates, so about 750 plates per appilance and day, and we needt 45.000 plates per day! So this recipe is only good if you have a lot of appilances.

Apple Pies is the same but less plates and less profit with the same hours. Bacon and egs its 3 min, so NO.

Then appears the Glazed Ham with 22hours 2,040 plates and 3,97 profit per plate, so for me its the most profitable plate. The next ones are not profitable at all.

Then i see that with a combination with glazed ham and roast chicken i could do the most profitable 45.000 plates in a day. So i do some calculations for get the best combination to get the best profit with 21 appilances and the result was this:
profit: 185536.14545454545 - plates:46725 - num recipes:21 - recipes: 21x glazed ham

22 appilances:
profit: 186608.91699604745 - plates:46064 - num recipes22 - recipes: 20x glazed ham, 2x roast chicken

25 appilances:
profit: 197589.514624506 - plates:46967 num recipes25 - recipes: 19x glazed ham, 6x roast chicken

30 appilances:
profit: 210715.65533596853 - plates:46548 num recipes30 - recipes: 16x glazed ham, 14x roast chicken

50 appilances:
profit: 260001.9035573124 - plates:46855 num recipes47 - recipes 7x glazed ham, 40x roast chicken

58 appilances or more:
profit: 287326.95652173937 - plates:45356 num recipes58 - recipes 58x roast chicken

I calculate the profit using this: (recipe plates / ( recipe time / 24 )) * profit per Serv. Remember that PROFIT is not INCOME money, the cost of cooking is take in care, i want to maximize the profit.

So the maximum profit in this game can be 287.326 coins if you have 58 appilances or more LOL (with the efficient design), in my case i have only 21 and cooking only glazed ham i do 46.725 and is the most eficient in my case, so.. my question now is: if i only make one unique recipe, can my happy customers go down?

Thanks.

Hmmm... Interesting. I thought stuffed mushroom was the way to go.

So in other words, when I decide 2 go back 2 cooking besides challenge dishes, since I've got 32 appliances I should go 17 glazed ham and 15 roast chicken. Hmm interesting. Here I've been cooking apple pies, glazed ham, chicken in no set numbers w stuffed mushrooms thrown in on occasion.
Thx 4 finding this thread bobbyrae.

Apple pies and chicken and peking duck are kind of tricky because they take so long to make. I knew about glazed ham but always thought glazed ham and stuffed mushrooms were the way to go. Will have to look at this in detail and see what the numbers look like.

Profit per serving is the income you receive per serving minus the cost of making each serving.

Profit per hour seems to take into consideration how long it takes to realise the profit. So it factors in the length of time to cook the food and to sell it off to realise the profit.

profit/hr works if you aren't overstocked, profit/srv if you are. multiply the first by 24 hr/day and by your number of slots to get the total profit, and the second by the limit (45000 per day if the game is closed, up to 80000 (??) if running it open)

The answer to this is no. The "happy" count only goes doen when customers don't have any food to consume, cannot get to tables to consume the food, cannot get to the cash register or there are not enough tables for all the customers that want to eat.

One day I 4got 2 remove a chair that was blocking the L side of my Straight Line I'm using as my t/c arrangement(I have 16 on 1side of my host table and 12 on the other side) and went my jolly way of tipping nbrs off my wall. Well once I was done I left RS running and went 2 BS 2 tip nbrs and I didn't get back 2 rs for quite awhile.
Eventually when I returned I had no idea as 2 y I had ppl were leaving my bistro w angry faces or y my happiness rating was in the low 80's. I saw I had plenty of food and that the hostess table was clear but when I looked 2 the L side I saw the problem. Once I removed the table the score shot right back up to 100 w/in a minute.
And as bobbyrae said as long as the ppl's hunger can b taken care of ur score will not go down. The only ways 4 it to go down r if u do 1 of the items she mentioned, like the "stupid " thing I did.
