Gift question, and game reset

Does anyone know this one?

If a gift is sent before game reset but accepted just after, does it count for the day/session it was sent or the day/session it was accepted?

My game reset has just happened and I have just got onto my game, 8am uk, and I havd just accpeted gifts sent yesterday.
