I got a Glimmer Trove from adventure. It gives 1-3 every 4 hours. I Also bought one for 35 gems, I think. Also, Mushrooms, especially red rings give the purple dust. Good Luck!

The magic garden and/or Ivy's hut gives it occasionally too.

And Sir P sometimes gives 2 glimmerdust.
