I have 27 neighbors and haven't received a single gift in days. Could someone please add me, send a gift and post on my wall if you do? I want to make sure it's not a problem with the game that I'll have to email support about. Thank you! Edit: I will gladly gift back :)

You have to usually gift neighbors for them to gift back :)

Players can only send three gifts per day so it is possible to not get any gold for a day. You may want to try chat with a few neighbors to try and find some gold buddies so you can exchange gold each day.
You can check out the add forum to find others that need gold buddies.
