Best Way to Close Game?

I find that when I don't force close my game sparkles don't show up on my habitats.
My news feed says that people have stopped by and left a bonus but the sparkles aren't showing up.

So every time I close the game now I force close. And my island is all sparkly when I sign in again.
Just wondering if this is a good thing to keep doing.
How do you close your game?

You should always force close out your game when you are not playing.
When you leave game open and running in the background, when you come back to play, it will take a few seconds after your start clicking for your game to catch up with Team Lava servers, and for any progress that you do to save.

Like with your sparkles, they will be there, but when you come back to you game after being away, you will not see any progress that happened in your game while you were away, until your game catches up with the Servers.

I always get msgs saying people stopped by my island and played with dragons but I never see sparkles. Am I supposed to?

Always force close your game because i have nbrs who put their phones in their pocket and accidentally spend gold on food, coins and expansions.

Force closing the game when you are not playing would prevent that.
