I got both Angel and Quetzal as accidents... I just threw forestfire and diamond together and saw that it was 32 hours... I was like what in the world - I thought It was a virtue... but I was pleasantly surprised to see Quetzal... I was trying (still trying really) for Unicorn and got Angel.. was very surprised when I saw the 44 hours pop up... thought it was another diamond...

Now that guy Crusader... it took me 2.5 hours of straight fire and diamond to get crusader. I was at my witts end... like seriously about to stop playing the game... lol... becuz a lot of my neighbors said it only took them 5/10 minutes... whereas me - frickin 2.5 hours....

But you have to be diligent with crusader and quetzal at least... at least the only fails are fire or forest which take 10 or 20 seconds to rid yourself of... GL! :)

I would say great minds think alike but I would not be holding up my end of the statement. By round 21 only 26 hours into the tournament mine is mush. At least deciding the match ups at this level becomes a bit easier. Toss the biggest nuke you have available. Lol

so... if when you get to the end you there isn't basically anything that defeats the dragons they make you go up against how is anyone actually winning these things and the dragons. Many don't have diamonds or a lot of the super rare dragons that apparently can fight and win a lot of things. I usually don't even bother because I feel like i don't stand a chance. Furthest I ever went was half way through.

I would say in the last 3 tournament I always spend almost a day and ended up Ult the dragon:-(

OMG decided I would sped up a max 3 times to try and beat Amazon and would then just do hourly battles to give my dragons a chance to heal and on my 3rd attempt I beat Amazon.

Round 20 Amazon defeated by Metal BB Lost Infinity and Passion.

so... if when you get to the end you there isn't basically anything that defeats the dragons they make you go up against how is anyone actually winning these things and the dragons. Many don't have diamonds or a lot of the super rare dragons that apparently can fight and win a lot of things. I usually don't even bother because I feel like i don't stand a chance. Furthest I ever went was half way through.

Eventually most of the dragons will go down if you keep trying but it could take up to 30 rounds to beat the difficult ones. I always make sure that I have babies in the spare places in my habitats so when I get to these long rounds I have something to use while my better dragons are healing.


At some point you make the decision on how many rounds you are prepared to battle before you use gold for an ultimate attack. That all depends on how much you want the dragon. To me there is a benefit in ensuring I win a champion dragon because that will help with the next tournament and so on but a dragon like this one, is not so important.

The game is provided for free. I enjoy it and I see no problem in spending a bit of money in support of something they provide free of charge. I'll use gold to speed up rounds or for ultimate attacks if it is worth my while. I know others do this to win if necessary too.

I got both Angel and Quetzal as accidents... I just threw forestfire and diamond together and saw that it was 32 hours... I was like what in the world - I thought It was a virtue... but I was pleasantly surprised to see Quetzal... I was trying (still trying really) for Unicorn and got Angel.. was very surprised when I saw the 44 hours pop up... thought it was another diamond...

Now that guy Crusader... it took me 2.5 hours of straight fire and diamond to get crusader. I was at my witts end... like seriously about to stop playing the game... lol... becuz a lot of my neighbors said it only took them 5/10 minutes... whereas me - frickin 2.5 hours....

But you have to be diligent with crusader and quetzal at least... at least the only fails are fire or forest which take 10 or 20 seconds to rid yourself of... GL! :)

I have spent over 6 hours of just diamond/forest all forest. I will try again this saturday while family is at work and I am home alone with the dog, she doesn't mind when I yell at my phone.....:)

Thanks for the feedback I just was wondering since people do seem to finish even without spending gold or maybe only spending on that ultimate attack thing. I have liked many of the dragons but I just don't seem to have the time to do it around the clock and i think I would need that haha. Anyway again thanks for the info!

I wish MY champions played as hard as THEIR equivalent champions do. I think TL must hseparate out a few, feed them steroids and a few other "special" things and put them in THEIR stable. The rest are sent out to us. The baby ninja that Kami got was one of the "chosen" - fed and ready for their stable, yet it escaped out the back door and ended up with Kami.

Amazon has ****ed (OOPS. He has "exhausted") my diamond twice, my passion twice and my metal twice. I beat him with Warden in the Thunderbird tourney - I shall have at him with Warden next round.

As frustrating as the battles get (and I will be the first to say there are certainly times when nuking the suckers gives GREAT pleasure), the FUN in the tournament is the rush you get when you FINALLY win a long fought battle (and the good friends here). Just blasting all your opponents is no fun at all. The dragon reward is secondary - the GAME is the thing....

I'd be great at fighting windmills too i think, but i'll be fine playing games and trying to get good at that...or at least try to - maybe i'm in the wrong game though, noone can beat randomness and bad luck lol...still, every time something falls in place it is a small victory, which i enjoy! Amazon has ****ed (OOPS. He has "exhausted") my diamond twice, my passion twice and my metal twice. I beat him with Warden in the Thunderbird tourney - I shall have at him with Warden next round.

As frustrating as the battles get (and I will be the first to say there are certainly times when nuking the suckers gives GREAT pleasure), the FUN in the tournament is the rush you get when you FINALLY win a long fought battle (and the good friends here). Just blasting all your opponents is no fun at all. The dragon reward is secondary - the GAME is the thing....

I agree I post about my frustration,but that makes the victory even sweeter
