i need help! can't reach half the points that i need to finish... suggestions?

That's what I do! and I try to make very long chain of fruits, but it doesn't work.. I try to put together many blasters, but even this doesn't help. -.-

Try to start with at least one 7-or-more fruit chain (FC) so you start making blasters (and earning max points) right away. If you don't see a long match (that touches a vine) as your 1st move...
Press pause, then back arrow to restart the level.
(Doesn't use an energy as long as you don't touch anything.)

Until you've cleared the vines, try to make sure your FC touches at least one on each move. Then they won't spread, and you can quickly clear your working area. With the vines & other obstacles out of the way, you'll have more fruit on screen...allowing you to make really long FC's. Remember, you get a special fruit (blaster/bomb) every 7th fruit. The little "aura's" around the 7th, 14th, 21st, etc. fruits in the chain can help keep track...

Since your goal is points, it's important to maximize the point value of each move. Do that by making the longest chains of fruit possible, and by blasting/clearing as much fruit & obstacles (vines, stumps, etc.) as you can with each match. Fruit chain scoring works like this:

The first 3 fruits are worth 100 points each. Each fruit in the chain after that gets 50 more points than the fruit before it (maxes out at 1000 per fruit.)

The more fruit you clear per turn, the higher your score. So weigh every decision. When you're creating a nice long chain of fruit with a blaster in it, take into account where the chain ends. This row/column is where the blaster will hit--so make sure it's "aimed" at an obstacle, another blaster, or at least the most fruit (that aren't already in your FC.) The area to be blasted will be shaded--a nice way to check as you're moving your finger, testing "routes", lol. ;) Starting at one end of the FC or the other can mean a big difference in points!

Clearing fruit/obstacles with special fruits--scoring:
You get 100 points for each fruit/obstacle taken out by a blaster/bomb (some obstacles are worth more--like 1000--but can't remember which right now. I'll edit this later...wanna post this novel already, lol! ;)) If you use a special fruit to activate a 2nd (let's say a blaster activates another blaster,) then the fruits/obstacles cleared by the 2nd blaster are worth 200 points. And it goes up from there...the more special fruits involved, the higher the point values! Your FC points still seem to be higher (esp. w/long chains,) but those "blasted fruit points" are awesome, too!

As you can see, it's good to combine special fruits to make those points really escalate. Remember to watch the shaded areas, to see which "route" clears the most fruit/obstacles (and/or activates other blasters/bombs not a part of your chain.) Usually, the more specials you use, the more points! I've noticed when I do chains with a bomb (sun) & 3 blasters (or 2 bombs & 2 blasters) it wipes out the entire board. Lots of points for that! I didn't keep track of how much, though. Gonna try to take screenshots to keep track next time. (Ugh, it's hard to pay attention sometimes. But I do plan to to figure out exactly what you get w/different combinations. ;))

Sorry so long-winded! I hope it helps you. If you still have trouble passing, remember some boards are "luckier" than others. The right board will show up eventually...the one where the fruit falls perfectly, allowing you to zig-zag all around the entire board! Don't worry--you'll definitely get it.
