can't use jelly maker

hello, please can somebody help me, I'm level 34 in farm story 2 and I bought the jelly maker but cannot make jelly as I don't have these green leaves that are required for apple jelly. I've never seen them on the market, they look similar to spinache, might be kind of herbs maybe??? does anybody have an idea of where I can get or how I can grow them?
another question regarding the blackberries - what can I do with them except of selling? haven't yet found any use for them ... :(

They're herbs :) you need to expand to the herb garden (they're on the right side of the stream).
The blackberries get used in the jelly maker, although I can't remember what level that option unlocks.


Eta: the herbs are very rare to find in the newspaper. I generally try to buy them if I see them!

Oh, the blackberries are also used in the candle maker!
