Pink and red will suit me just fine. At this point in the game, I am tickled with anything new. I'm also hoping for a gem sale because I am in the mood to spend some fun money to buy a display *cough, cough* or mannequin *COUGH COUGH*.

This next bit might do better in the suggestions thread but here goes: I would love to be able to hang wall decor on fitting rooms. It might sound weird but I've thought it would be cool to hang some of the garland and twinkly lights and other stuff on the solid grey fitting rooms. They need some love. Plus, I use them to separate or section off areas in the shop at times so it would add to the flair to have them livened up. And it might get me to buy more wall decor. *COUGH COUGH* My fitting room collection is solid BUT I don't have 10 of each if you know what I mean.

The coughs are my attempt at dropping hints. I'm not suffering from the flu :p

I would really like coordinated pink tiles and a new wall covering and maybe duplicate the process with a nice red tile and complimentary wallpaper. Might as well just say it: can we have a bunch of stuff to decorate with BEFORE the month of February so the Valentines theme can hang around a while?

And yes, I would also like to go totally pink for a while. I named my shop PINK blah blah blah because I love pink. My poor little shop is dark and no pink. I sob daily. SOB. :cool: :o :p :( :mad:

I saw the new outfit and I really like it. I was hoping for something that wasn't winter or holiday themed, and I got my wish. And I'm disappointed we got another box, I was hoping for nice decor. I think I'm the only person in this thread who didn't want antything Valentines related. It's not that I don't love pink or red, I just wanted items like that in February. I hope that when those items do come the colors aren't garish and overwhelming.

Not loving the catalogue, more brown and grey... but at least we got a new one.
The chest items are actually kind of cute, but I refuse to gamble on chests, because there is always at least one completely lame item, and I refuse to risk flushing 24 gems down the drain.
Not a single item outside the box makes me sad. But I guess we cannot get awesome stuff every week.

So just a box? :( i dont like boxes.. I opened vday box from last year one time only for the pucker up display and got it, that was sooo fun but i was lucky ..and opened the formal box only one time and got the fancy mannequin that i wanted so bad but again its all about luck.. I think ill try this one if i will see picture of something pretty in that box but i wanted a cute LTO.. The last lto i got is from new year and i want something cute!! This new mannequin is not cute and i dont want her in my shop! Hope for more pics from this box..

I opened it twice all I'm willing to go for. Got the Heart fountain which is 2nd place and a (LOVE) mirror 3rd place. Photo bucket is giving me headaches so not uploading pics. AND thes items are in my STORAGE so if you come to my shop don't expect to see them. :)

I love the Gazebo and the Love Fountain but I don't understand the kissing booth since most of us got a better looking one as a goal prize.

The catalogue is sooooo UGLY!!!! Once again, boring ugly clothes, what's up with that?? And the only vday related update we got is a stupid box. Where is the decor, the LTO, the catalogue? Even the mannequin isn't cute, she has short hair, ugh... Really not liking yet ANOTHER update in FS. We all scream for (not ice cream) PINK vday stuff! I don't know why it's so hard to design items that players would actually want to buy, not like you don't make money off of us, would only make sense to give us what we want to see in the game. Also starting off a holiday season with a box is really lame, it's like them saying they want people to fork over all their money on a box and only then see what they got left to offer normally. It also tells me that they probably don't have a whole lot to offer this year if they have to resort to box right away. So disappointed.

I can say in one word my feelings, dissapointment. I was looking forward to vday since summer and all we get in the first vday "update" is just a box? No LTO, no deco,not even a Valentine's cute catalogue? The catalogues we're getting lately are so ugly and boring and this week's catalogue is the worse! Just dull,ugly, boring clothes! Is it so hard for TL to design a beautiful pink Valentine catalogue?
I really wanted to redecorate my boutique with Valentine items but the only way to do this is to open this year's or last year's box, Oh well.

I'd love to have as a catalogue something like the girl in the gazebo wears. No more boring colors and clothes, please!

Also I agree with CuteTali, starting a holiday with a box probably means there's not much stuff to get later...

And what's that with the mannequin, I really wanted more dark colored mannequins but why is she dressed like this, that dress isn't cute at all...

Where is the pretty pink valanetine's outfit? This dress would've worked if the trim of the dress matched better and was red or light pink, the black trim on the fabric just makes the whole outfit look tacky. If this is a preview of the outfit we're getting this year for vday, then it's really sad. I know we were all expecting much much more.

The catalog isn't too bad, but TL has a tendency to make the outfits way too "matchy matchy" as of late. And I wish they did a better job of organizing new additions to the catalog...new things should be in front instead of scattered about random pages

Yikes....that's really bad. It looks like a granny dress with the lace up boots to match. My gosh, this game is like the red headed step sister over the last several months. No decent catalog designs related to the season/holiday, no goals -- no one cares much anymore is the way it looks to me. This used to be my favorite game but it has really gone down hill lately.
With Feb.14th like 3 weeks away, I don't hold out much hope, unfortunately.

Nope, you're not the only one. I love the catalog too :) It's classy! And I like how the skirt comes with the tights.
From what I see, the box items are not very appealing, unlike last year's box (really want that pucker-up display) except for the fountain. Is it a little too late to request an elegant V-day catalog? Floorlength scarlet red chiffon gown, satin white gloves, nice updo (with curls hanging near the face), bouquet, diamond tiara (with roses on top)...

I would purchase the items out of the box, including some of the lower place items. I'm just not purchasing boxes. I quit buying boxes for a while last year, then recently reneged and regretted it. I'm done.

I did purchase the two coin items for my avatar. I like the boots and skirt. Other than that, looks like I'm saving my coins and my gems.

This is a lack luster update. I'm very disappointed with it. The catalogue is okay and it is in my shop, but it is brown. I'm tired of brown clothing. I would love some purple stuff. From what I've seen of the box, not good. I was excited about the mannequin, but after a closer look, it's an amateurish design. As much as I like having mannequins in my boutique, I'm not going to get this one.

TL, please do a better job! CAN WE PLEASE GET SOME GOALS!!!!

I like the diner display... Just wish it had come as an LTO along with a 50s theme. Now I doubt we will get that theme.
However, the gazebo display is more Valentine-like. Too bad I don't buy boxes....

I agree! 100% I saw there wasn't a LTO so I bought twice from the box. I ended up with two gazebos! Which are adorable...I am glad I didn't get the manneiquin. I truly would love the diner, but I am not going to do the box again or I may end up with it or my store will be full of gazebos, lol!

I really don't like this one, she has short looking hair, reddish skin, instead of the nice skin tone the American Native mannequin has, and most of all, her outfit is hideous. Where is the pretty pink valanetine's outfit? This dress would've worked if the trim of the dress matched better and was red or light pink, the black trim on the fabric just makes the whole outfit look tacky. If this is a preview of the outfit we're getting this year for vday, then it's really sad. I know we were all expecting much much more.

The complaints about the skintone and her 'fro are... kinda weird. I do agree the outfit is hideous. I hope we aren't getting that as a catalogue later on.

That aside, I love this week's catalogue. Had to grab myself the claret skirt in the closet. Not sure how I feel about the box - there's some cute things in it, but there's also a whole bunch of enh stuff. I only need so many hearts, TL!

I don't understand why everyone keeps calling the mannequin's hairstyle a 'fro. It looks like it's parted on the side and braided an wrapped around her head in the front and the back. I think it's pretty. The dress, on the other hand, is very poorly drawn. I'm guessing they thought it wouldn't look as bad when not zoomed in, but it looks bad from any distance, and the missing eyebrow doesn't help either!

I agree. The hair isn't bad. But where is her other eyebrow? Somehow that bothers me. And the ric rak on her dress is so lame. I would fire the designer.

I didn't notice the missing eyebrow until you mentioned it! Now it's all I can look at. Too funny!

I think we are supposed to believe that her eyebrow is under her as she raised her eye but the mannequin in all looks really bad.

This hair actually reminds me of the 8th hairstyle in this post (http://forum.storm8.com/showthread.php?51748-What-Hair-Styles-Do-You-Like-For-Fashion&p=707683&viewfull=1#post707683). I agree about the dress and the eye brow, but I'm bothered that so many people are bothered about the skin tone of this mannequin. So far there have only been two that have had darker skin tones, and I hope we see more.
