Think it would be an idea to trade dragons for real, maybe a swap-shop, you pay x amount of gold to offer your dragon in swap-shop. The higher rating dragons more gold to swap, maybe with limits on how often you can use the swaps shop.

If not then maybe a one off swap/exchange of dragons with neighbours.
