Is it possible to have an android user and an apple user be friends on this game? Because I put my friends stormID and it says it doesn't exsist..

People can be neighbours across platforms. If you're getting that error maybe you haven't put in their code correctly or maybe they haven't started the game. If they are playing you could get them to invite you.
