I am "glad" to see it's not just my Paladin champ who loses when he really shouldn't, even if I hate to see someone lose a round.


I rarely use my Paladin....it's embarrassing watching him lose so much, lol.

Is it possible to win these tournMents without a diamond, champion and without spending gold? I am saving to buy a diamond and I haven't won a single tournament yet. Is it even doable?

Try to keep a supply of baby level 1 fire and forests whenever you have a nest that is free and use them when your better dragons are healing. Occasionally they may win but if they lose just sell them.

I tried Mech because it combines red/green w metal. Metal has a higher chance of winning than most, and red/green combos have worked against BK before.
BONUS!! I was trying to breed Helios (constantly) and got CLOCKWORK as fail! Woo hoo! I didn't even know it was breedable! Twice with Diamond and Helios!! (Happy Dance)!

How can i beat Diamond if i dont have any Diamond/Champion?

I used to throw baby fires or forests at diamonds and on occasions an epic dragon. They get lucky sometimes. So plan to have patience when fighting them and champion types. Buy baby fires and forests, they're cheaper and then sell them. Meanwhile heal your epic dragons. Good luck. It can be done! :)

I don't have a lot of progress to report, as my win/loss record has been abysmal for the first 10 rounds--I've lost 5 times in the first 10 rounds! I have only a 66% win record with dragons that are supposed to be 85-90% against these babies! (Of course, when it's MY babies up against TL's high-level dragons, I have about a 7% win record... makes sense, right? :p)

6. Spider defeated by Valkyrie (I lost TWO epic Champions to Spider!!)
7. Fairytale defeated by Cosmic
8. Golem defeated by Aurora
9. Mist defeated by Lightning
10. Mirage defeated by Lightning (lost TWO epics to this one as well! It's insane!)

I'm about half a day behind due to all those ridiculous losses! I don't know if I'm going to keep going. I see we have to face SIX Champions and SIX diamonds--that's insane!!! I think I might quit after getting the gold at level 15! No dragon is worth the aggravation of facing six champions and six diamonds!

It's funny woodworker saying how lucky he has been this tournament. I sailed through most of the rounds last time and just got stuck on the last 2 which took me about 12 attempts each. I think that some tournaments are easier for individual players than others at certain times just like some people seem to breed new dragons easier than others at different times.

Thanks! I don't always have the luck to breed dragons either, but that is how I got vampire and raven. I had a pretty good month getting dragons in October- now.... Not so much! :)

Yeah, Anaboe, it looks pretty much impossible to win without gold, even if you have diamonds, since those don't help against level 16+ Champions.

TL has ramped the difficulty of these tournaments up to ludicrous level. Even adding an extra day does not help if one has to face 6 champions and 6 diamonds. It used to be possible to win without gold. (I even won 5 tournaments with no gold and no diamond dragons! Just lots of persistence.) But now, not really.

Heal ur champs n try again. I beat Diamond with a champ. In champs rounds start with simple elements like Metal, Water etc or another champ. In diamond rounds ask for help from forum. Good luck!!

Sometimes you hope that you're lucky. I was able to one-shot the level 12 Paladin with my epic Metal on the first try. So far through the first 17 rounds, I've only lost 5 times. 20 - 29 are going to be rough for me. I don't have any diamond dragons. Most of those rounds are a 10% chance to win for me.

I do not have any diamonds, but I do have 1 epic paladin, a dynasty 9. I have made it through round 17 now, about to battle round 18, I have not used gold yet, normally i give up and buy through round 15, but i was able to get through this time, it can be done, throw bay fire dragons at it and just sell them if they lose {not my idea I tried it on the last tourney when I saw it posted}
the trick is keep trying as often as you can and you will beat it eventually. maybe buy out on a gold round it only really costs you 25 that way. Just my thoughts on it. Good luck Loren
