Expansions for FS2?

I hope soon we get new expansion areas in FS2,I need to use my boatload of papers I've been holding in my barn,even selling them when I go over a certain number,but can't we get just one new plot,please?thank you

My guess is we will never see any expansions beyond the ordinal max size. I have been playing team lava games for years and have never seen any expansions beyond the original max size. Teamlava ignores these games eventually. Never saw expansions for pet shop story, pet hotel story, bakery story or restaurant story. I don't expect it here either. Will be pleasantly surprised if we have one but not expecting it.

There is some spots that look like future expansions,where there are grass,if you look close.they might be doling them out like in castle

I see what you mean and there are two squares in the opposite corners where one would think would be logical expansions, but I'm not holding my breath. I sell any permits I get. If there are new expansions, I'll save up then.
