I actually wanna try for this dragon, but I don't have many strong level dragons. Any suggestions? My strongest are Fire, Forest, Love, Scorpion, Honeybee, Fireworks, and Midas( all level 7 or up).

Edit: My list was short. Air and water are both 7, as are Passion, Origami, Pegasus, and Ceasar. Clown and Atlantis are 6.

You can still do it with those dragons but to get 99 arrowheads you need to be battling consistently for the month or so it is available. This started on the 10th Jan so don't expect the arrowheads to be available after around 10th Feb.

There is a tournament going on at the moment and some rounds may be very easy wins, others may be very difficult.

Passion is a good dragon to fight other Champs so you would do well to get him up to level 10.

Use the colour chart to determine which of your dragons will be best in battles and use babies as well when you are healing your best dragons. Keep a supply of level 1 fire and forest when you have nests available to hatch them. Sell them when they get exhausted in battle.

Thank you for the advice! Right now I just beat round 10, the farthest I've ever gotten. I had no direct counters for Mirage at a strong level, so I used my Passion. A quick victory!

I beat Mist with Warden... mbb... Now im at 57 arrows...

On another note, I have been sitting here for the past hour trying to breed crusader with no luck at all... keep getting fire... I was able to get quetzal on first try with forestfire and diamond... but crusader is elusive.... ugh...

I hope my next opponent is easier than mist...

I've heard people say that Champions are weak to common colors, like Red. Try a Blue-Yellow dragon, like Mist.

You get 1 of each craft per round with the exception of 15, 20, and 25 which gives you gold...
And of course round 30, you get the dragon.

Thanks for the info. A small part of me prayed that at the higher levels you'd get two or even three crafting items. But nope. Oh well, I'm at level 14, so I just gotta keep forging on.

LOL don't be too hard on yourself though, it's a very flawed combat system that in the end is too much about luck - i never blame myself hehe, can only blame TL. It is a pity indeed, imagine if there was more tactics and s****s into it, would probably be quite awesome!

I got stucked with yeti too. Defeated all dragies i throw at it. Just got saved by the tournament.
When the tourney started, then came a new opponent replacing it.

Maybe TL should make a "Trash Dragon" and all your extra parts could go for a new Metal/Black/Green hybrid and you have to have 25 of each (Leviathan Pears, Immortal Masks, Midnight Maces, Morning Stars)...

Many has posted that TL should create a "trash" dragon, it's really a brilliant idea and even if it might not bring in loads of money for TL it'd be a quite awesome thing rewarding loyal players with. But, i think we must show TL better that there's a great interest in such a dragon - myself i created a thread on the Suggestions forum about TL making a "Frankenstein" dragon, and a good while later 1 (one...) player posted to agree - i think if ppl were as busy lobbying for this type of dragon on Suggestions forum as they are posting about tournaments and stuff we'd have better chances actually getting one!

Maybe you get weaker dragons if you're under level 40 or or something like that. It would suck if you're just starting, with no epics and you have to fight off level 14 dragons.

Just battled a Flower level 11, and looking at the colour charts I could go either Ruby with three strong colours and rarity parity, or Goblin with superior rarity and two strong colours (one of them a weak colour too). Battle calculator says 75% vs 60%. Ruby loses. Goblin wins with M+++. Rarity definitely trumps colour advantage these days.

I'm at 91 arrowheads and it's 7:46 now.. I will battle again at 8... I got lucky and won some in a row... Imma stop around 10... Let's hope I can have 94/95... :-). Fingers crossed...

And after this, I won't battle until the next dragon comes out... Cuz this last tournament was stressful and facing these 10-14 dragons have been bad for my health too... Lol...

I lost 3 times to Yeti yesterday, then epic palladin took him out, today I lost an early morning round to bat with paladin, so an hour later I try to battle again and my paladin is done in the spa already? so i send him out he loses again, then an hour later he shows to be done in the spa, I take him out he battles bat and finishes him off easily. I think I had a glitch of some osrt in the hour between there, because I never put paladin back in the spa. I believe that battle in the middle never really happened as far as the game is concerned , just an odd morning. oh yea 62 arrowheads

Not really after another Amazon,but battling when I have time for it.At the moment Large Onyx gem useless for me,already crafted Tiger'sEye,Onyx & Jade.

Who told u this stupid thing? The lvl doesnt matter only rarity matters. All superares will give u big gems and all rares , small ones. But to be traded the dragons need to be at least lvl 4. So did u feed all ur dragons to 9 or so before u traded them?

I kind of thought "CHAMPIONS" would be the baddest dragons out there, but it seems they are "run of the mill" middle contenders

Yes me. Some days I can clear 8-10 battles and other days I am lucky to get through 4

It is sad what Black Knight will lose too and then when you come back with another Black knight it takes care of the common dragon. I am spending two rounds on most dragons non tourney to beat them. Slowly but surely on my quest for 99 AH's.

Also having a hard time winning battles since the tournament ended. Took me six tries to defeat a dark steel and have now lost four times to a level 13 charm including two champion types. Hope it doesn't stay like this

I think arena is quite ok when no tournament is ongoing , ok so i've been having a bunch of Champions ****ed by Cave 10 which definetly gave me tournament vibes lol (tried Diamond 9 and wiped it out with ease) but at least now you don't get stuck EVERY round! :)

See ive finished a battle and defeated a certain dragon, sample my immortal beat origami with bb++ and got an arrowhead. Then the game synchros and i would have to repeat the same battle, the ah gone. Now i use immortal again and did bbb then lose. Whats up with that? Happened to me lotsa times already....

There's always that luck factor involved. You could have been really unlucky that one time. It's not deterministic. I bet if you healed and then tried again you'd get it the next time :D

A bit of a tangent, but these days I think that level does have a small factor, when it comes to mystery boxes. I opened a bug thread on what I was noticing recently. I think level might affect success with mystery boxes now, since now most times I get nothing as the mystery box. I only feed up to level 4 and I used to always get something. I'm not wasting fireapples to fully test it out though :p

No word on this, but normally we do not get much of advanced notice. I only have 64 so far so I am now setting my alarm for every hour just in case.
I think TL removes these pretty quick since we are now getting tournaments pretty close together.

Kooky can you check with TL as to what we are suppose to do with all of the left over parts. (maces, masks, pearls etc) Will we ever be able to use them in the future. Storage is getting cluttered with all these things that we can not use presently. thanks

We got a month for immortal including two tournaments, so the arrowheads will probably stop shortly after the next tournament, which should start next week and end in two weeks.

I have 59 arrowheads. Will probably stop battling once I get my 99 except for the next tournament. Don't have enough time to craft two in a month (also will be out of champion habitat space if I did craft two).
