Congrats to everyone who got gilded. I too got gilded - i am so happy right now. I thoght i woukd never see this dragon ever. It was difficult but luckily after spending 300gold i got it. What a big relief!!!

I too got billions of sunrise virtues, magics and islands. I am also so happy with all these beautiful dragons they make my island so pretty and beautiful. I wish TL would let me keep all of them.

Don't know if this is the right place to post but I just got a diamond dragon!!! Have been playing for around 2 years and never managed to get one till now. Was convinced people actually bought them and lied about breeding them hahahah! Used a serpent and eagle. Yay! Congrats to you! :) I was lucky and got diamond relatively early (level 50 or so, I think) but it's always a great feeling to get an ultra rare or just the dragon you're going for!

Was going for Tinsel ~ but this works. At least Mythics habitat isn't 6 million any more! Just saved 8 million for the gold giving friends. Took 8 days ~ I Millon....piece of cake.

Shell is part of the Tropic family. So either you had to use a Tropic type or Diamond/Diamond :)

Thanks to the 2 habitat increase I was able to buy back Fire, Air, Water and Forest!
So once again I got a full album!

Yes. I have been breeding diamond and Leo cos there are 3 potential diamond hybrids including mercury along with another 8 dragons I don't have, so it looks like a good combination for me.

That is amazing. I would say capitalize on your luck by trying for the hardest ones- DA, unicorn, Helios, black diamond. If you plan on going for crusader, quetzal, or infinity, you'll have plenty of time for that later because they are super easy to get once you have diamond. Ill visit your island and see if I have any suggestions about room. Congrats!!!

I did some housekeeping and pushed some things around. That said, trying to mow through additional forest at an accelerated rate is punitive in terms of cost @ a rough guess of 250 gold per square and climbing. Trying to ration remaining gold for breeding exclusively.

Thank you for the tips on where to place my Dragon bets while the clock is ticking! I'll have to spend a lot of time reading tonight and then tear in to it tomorrow.

I don't know enough about the game to know what habitats/Dragons can be cut loose without affecting future breeding and game play.

So here is an update.

I bred Diamond and Virtue a bunch last night. Lets just say that I could have fielded a football team with a full bench of Laserlights. Because of lack of habitat space I am certain that I sold dragons that would make people cry. I understand that the revenue model for this game dictates no trading of Dragons but it sure would have been nice to be able to gift some dragons, especially for those that aren't able to purchase gold.

I switched to chasing DA and Black Diamond. I'll let you know how that goes. I'll run out of Gold well before time expires on the Temple.

Highlights thus far are 3 Diamonds and Crusader.

Some personal fav Supers are a pair of Black Swans. Also have a Night Elf on the nest.

Hoping for some additional luck today!

I'm on level 100 and I just bred my 100th unique dragon! Not counting Arctic dragons. And it was a Rainbow too, which I've been trying for for ages. And my 99th dragon was Clockwork, which I didn't have, so yay! :D :D

Yesterday was a day of joy and pain for me. I currently have a Unicorn on the nest after a laughable number of failed attempts. JOY !

Then late last night I somehow accidentally butt-dialed 180,000 Food wiping out all but 89 of my gold. I was hoping to do some power breeding today (still have an active Temple timer) and I am trying to run down Customer Service. But its the 4th, so at best, nothing can likely be done until next week, PAIN !

If it had been 100 Gold I would not have even bothered CS. But wiping myself out AFTER paying for the Diamond Temple is (in my mind) a significant issue.

I have forwarded a ticket. I will go through the process as stipulated, and see what transpires. It would be inappropriate for me to speculate or comment before TL is given an opportunity to review and render a decision.

I'll sparkle you today since I've been wiped out in terms of any additional power breeding.

Bred a patchwork dragon (with not TOO many attempts)

Crafted a guardian dragon

Won a spellthorn in tourney

I have worked out how to house all dragons! With a spare spot!! O.O

I got Patchwork on the first try. That's the first time I ever bred a new dragon on the first try. After waiting 2 hours I did wind up spending 12 gold because I just couldn't wait to see if it was going to be Patchwork or Mist. Very happy it was Patchwork. :cool:

Wow :p That happened to me (almost) once. I got Pansy on my third try a while back, and then used it with Diamond and got Flower first try! That was awesome :cool:

That all changed at the end of June with the Sunstone being available in the mine. I focused on getting multiple Sunstones from mining and the same with Ravens and Tigerflys from the Spin to Win - to get enough duplicates to trade for 2 large quartz and 3 large onyx and used them to craft the Quartz, Jade and Onyx dragons. With those three, I've completed all of the gemstone dragons by crafting!

Finally (after much cussing, spending/wasting gold, and shouting at several gods) i spun a tigerfly today

Bred a patchwork dragon (with not TOO many attempts)

Crafted a guardian dragon

Won a spellthorn in tourney

I have worked out how to house all dragons! With a spare spot!! O.O

Wow :eek: I can barely craft one mining dragon in a month, multiples must be really hard. Congratulations on the dragons :)

I'm on the version of the game where we evolve at levels 4, 7 and 10 - so in addition to starting the mining with a full load of 25 bombs, I had a bunch of breeding fails sitting at level 3 ready to evolve. I did spend gold on speed evolving to make sure I got enough bombs to get enough Sunstones to trade. I wouldn't do this with every mining / crafting dragons - just the prizes that are super rare pink or black hybrids (I did the same at the end of March when the Amber dragon was the mining / crafting prize).

Until these last couple weeks, pursuing the gemstone collection seemed like a marathon and I was hitting the wall.

That all changed at the end of June with the Sunstone being available in the mine. I focused on getting multiple Sunstones from mining and the same with Ravens and Tigerflys from the Spin to Win - to get enough duplicates to trade for 2 large quartz and 3 large onyx and used them to craft the Quartz, Jade and Onyx dragons. With those three, I've completed all of the gemstone dragons by crafting!



Ah I see :) I just need one more large Pink gem, or 7 more small gems. Hopefully I'll get it eventually!

Congratulations AJImmer. It took me many months but I finally got all the gemstone dragons crafted a little while ago. It's quite an accomplishment. :)

Good thing there's a bragging thread because I need to brag! I just hatched my 300th album dragon (Horizon) and am thrilled to join the 300 Club!

The only limited dragons I missed out on are Spider, Skeleton, Mother and Dreamcatcher. The dragons I still need are Ares, Gargoyle, Dark Angel, Black Diamond, Helios, Cheshire, Pterodactyl, Goldwing, Goldleaf, Dark Steel, Armor, Chess, Trojan, Oracle, Tricorn, Triple Rainbow, Archon, Porcelain, Hook and Cerberus. Right now I'm breeding for a Triple Rainbow which could also give a welcome Archon or Tricorn fail.

It looks like only diamond and some diamond hybrids are 44 hours according to the chart so I am hopeful. I am level 109 and if this is a diamond it will be my first! 32 hours left now - can't wait to find out! Congrats to everyone on their new dragons this week!

Yep that's definitely a Diamond! Congratulations!! You can't get a hybrid without using a Diamond in your combination.

Once you get your diamond, breed him with the new Greek dragons; Poseidon, ares, and Scylla for easy no fail diamond hybrids :D.

Diamond x Poseidon = mercury
Diamond x ares = gold
Diamond x Scylla or Hera should = quetzal :)

I was super excited when I got mercury and gold first try with these!
Although I haven't tried Hera or Scylla since I have two quetzals, just thought it would work out as well, but I guess not :p.
I also tried for unicorn with Aphrodite but got laser light instead, so I will have to try again after gold is finished!

Ended up with triplets on the Gold and a handful of Mercury. I've got to believe this will end sooner than later.

I believe TL will fix it soon. It's too easy now to breed Ultra Rare dragons. So we must use this time to get tons of them :)

Not sure if this is a brag or not, but I finally bred Moon. It took 60 tries and I got it on my 2nd acct, but at least I got one. My 2nd acct seems to breed many more things than my first. But happy to have a Moon finally.

Wish I had a Diamond on either acct though, so I could breed these Ultra Rares like y'all!

My baby account I usually try for Diamonds, but lately just black and white for Moon. Baby acct bred Moon, Elements, Kitsune, Griffin, Mirage, Tropic, Landworm; when main acct hasn't. And also bred Fairy, Clockwork, Serpent, and Mindvolt before my main acct. I'm level 107 and level 74ish. So I guess my baby acct isn't too young anymore.... It's got good breeding though!

On my Kindle I got my diamond with epic Familiar and Leopard (might have been Griffin but I'm pretty sure Leopard. Either way it was a yellow/white hybrid). Wasn't trying for it, can't remember what I was trying for honestly.

So I have been getting pretty bored with DS lately. There's no space for all the dragons and they are released too frequently to decide what to even go for. When I do pick something to try for, weeks go by with no results. I decided to start trying for the 5 zodiac dragons I don't have yet bc maybe with free boosted breed I would get one... I just have to brag about my luck this time around with the diamond temple. Last time I thought the temple was completely useless- this time I am convinced that it works. Within 5 days I got- astromancer, 2 crusaders, angel, unicorn, prism, and Helios. Astromancer and Prism only took 2 tries each and Helios was the 4th try. Unicorn was tougher because I got those crusader and angel fails. It's ridiculous how easy it has been for me to breed them. I don't get why it seems to be either useless or amazing for different people, but I am just so excited about the diamond explosion on my island

I am on Level 141 with 206 dragons..... and I am breeding my first DIAMOND dragon. Epic Athletic and epic Celtic are doing the deed right now. This is the second time I have put them together - the first time I got a Mist Dragon. Thank you Team Lava for the early Christmas present :)

Extra info: I have only used the Diamond Temple once - not used this time. I spent 600 gold yesterday on Treasure Dragon - I was saving for a Diamond but could not resist the sale.

I am on Level 141 with 206 dragons..... and I am breeding my first DIAMOND dragon. Epic Athletic and epic Celtic are doing the deed right now. This is the second time I have put them together - the first time I got a Mist Dragon. Thank you Team Lava for the early Christmas present :)

Extra info: I have only used the Diamond Temple once - not used this time. I spent 600 gold yesterday on Treasure Dragon - I was saving for a Diamond but could not resist the sale.

Hi Ghostie - I saw on a tournament forum that you have a Diamond dragon too. I have 12 hours to go for the breeding to end and I can't wait for the egg to be in the nest.

My baby account is so lucky - it bred leprechaun, thanksgiving and forestfire in succession (whilst trying for Quetzal). It usually wins the dragons on the spin wheel and it got a Diamond dragon at Level 28. My old account is not as lucky.

Hi Pern - Thank you for your note. It took me forever to get a Landworm on my old account. As mentioned above, my baby account is lucky - it got Landworm first try with Fire and Forest - so it was the third dragon I had on the island.

I was surprised. I got 44 hours while trying for gingerbread using Quetzal and Tusker. I tried to check for what the egg is, hoping it's an Angel or Diamond one. However, it was Crusader. The good thing about this is I need longer hour dragons to evolve for bombs. Too bad it wasn't Angel or Diamond.

My combo was scarecrow+familiar if you needed any combos!

I use skeleton and Frightmare for my diamond - but it also has a bajillion potential combos for that, I just lucked out.

Hehe, I wish they would release all the Xmas dragons at the same time :( I can almost always find a combo that has a chance for all of them! Is it weird that I'm looking forward to Christmas because of the events TL might do?!

The 20% gold sales happen at different times for everyone, and apparently with different bundles depending on your level, but I'm not sure about that. I believe the bigger sales like the Black Friday sale last week was for everyone, starting and ending at the same time.

If you're waiting for your game to have a sale, it will come soon - these sales are VERY common!

Instead of getting a diamond hybrid, I nearly finished the never ending collection of blue/purple hybrids!

Using 400 gold, I managed to breed:

-2 iridescents
-1 nightstalker
-1 celestial

I'm just missing a mistmoth.

That's what I thought too, but the cost of ninja by itself is way higher. Ninja is one of the best champions in the game, the worst opponent in the tournaments. I really want to win every tournament from now on!
