What a way 2 welcome in 2014! It's 2 bad things didn't work out where we'd get a new challenge 2day, that would've really made my day. I'd love 2 c at least 3 new recipes w 1 on ea appliance and have it b really creative. If not that then a new appliance w lots of new recipes. Another appliance like the drink machine w multiple recipes would b nice.
New decor also is important. Something away from the winter holidays, something fresh and new. Also not costing a lot of coins or gems. I'm planning on doing a much needed remodel so I'm checking out any and all 4 it.
However, what ever u deem 2 send us we'll b happy 2 receive.

I hope this update is BIG. We haven't really EVER had a HUGE New Year update in any game, and I think it's about time we get one.

Random thoughts...

It takes considerable effort to develop for both Android and for iOS games. The season was shortened between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year by the calendar. This with a Tuesday release being the norm, made for short development/release times. It is hoped by this player we see the Winter themes introduced, and Valentines is short on the release schedule wish list too. Then again they never fully released the Western theme I wanted and I abandoned a lot in July when I was going to quit....

Why does everyone gripe about a free game?

I don't care what others think I LOVE the new update! Who cares that 2day is actually New Year's Day? I was looking 4 something 2 help inspire me 2 remodel my bistro and this did it. So the big floor item can only b used 4 2day the bubbly fountain can b used 4 any special occasion. The starry night wallpaper is good 4 more occasions then New Years. Y focus on just 1 item. Yes floor tiles were missing and I was disappointed there since I ended up spending gems 2 find some I felt were ok 4 that portion of my bistro but u don't hear me complaining, do u?
In the end I redecorated my complete bistro, spending quite a few gems, but I also pulled quite a bit out of storage also. I've gotten quite a few compliments on my new look so I'm a happy camper.
Our update is much better then the one in BS. At least we got 1 that dealt w something current where the 1 in BS was lame and sorry, it was based on icicles and expensive.
Come next week I'm sure I'll find a way 2 use that wk's update just like I do ea wk. I figure what the heck u gotta take the good w the bad and TL can't always plz everyone.

I have said this before and I can only speak on the iOS side...there are things out of TL's control regarding timing. App update submissions were not accepted during the iTunes connect shutdown in Apple's week long holiday which ended Dec 28th, then the iOS team has five business days to review and approve the app. So based on this TL actually did great in getting this update in for today.

Love the update, the LTO is cute, bought it on the spot and trying to save up gems to maybe buy it on my second account. Love the chairs and tables, I've been waiting for something in this exact color combination so I got excited when I saw it, prices are decent too, bought several of those and thinking of buying more for my other account. Wall decor balloons are nice too, but with both LTO and new tables all for gems, I don't want to spend more too many gems in one update, if it was for coins I would've bought it. I like the coin fountain of drinks, and the fact that everything is cool blue this update, refreshing from all the red and green that we had for the past month or so.

I'm buying for sure! In a few days later. Since you never know if they will offer another New Year LTO next year again. And I think it's looks pretty nice too! Though I'm absolutely sure the brown hair girl is the one from the picnic prep deco.

How good it would be if the LTO do not have the new year wording on it. It would then be a good party deco that could be used all year round...such a pity cause I really like the happy mood and colours but I can't bear to buy it and keep it just for the next new year.

I think the LTO looks nice too, but I find items that are only relevant for a few days rather pointless to get for so many gems. I hesitate on any 30+ gem item that can't be displayed reasonably for at least two months. Of course this LTO avoidance just leads me to blow my hoarded gems on boxes to get dinky ugly one-square prizes, which is what happened this morning. :p

Haha that is soooo true! The day we get a new one my mouth will hang open for days. You know IF that every really happens again. We used to get 2 new recipes every week! Then poof gone.

I was looking closer at the actual cookies that were baked and I DO NOT think it was counting down 2 New Years. Upon closer examination they appear 2 be an Olympic Medal and a paddling device of some sort. It's got me wondering if our next challenge/quest might b geared towards the Olympics since they're the next worldwide event that begins February 6th I think. I might b wrong but I thought I'd just throw that out 4 some consideration.
