Symbols? other than emojis o.o

I'm an iPhone user & I can see emojis. Just wondering how do these people make their messages so pretty & nice by using these kinds of symbol. I thought they're using an app like emoji or something but I couldn't find any on the App Store. anyone got an idea? Thanks :) :)

I have tried symbolic app & other Unicode apps but it doesn't really have what I'm looking for.

A lot of those are on the Japanese keyboard.

Dont forget that Android users cant see these so they might miss important messages from you such as specific parts requests, etc

Once I discovered that Android can't see these, I stopped using emoji. :(

I'm an Android user and just got a new phone 2 weeks ago an LG G2 I for the first time can now see and use emoji. I think maybe some new Android phones can now. I know what you mean though by the other pretty ones.

Same here, I only use text now, no matter what device I'm using. I know what it's like to receive a message full of squares/boxes that I have no idea what it says, but everyone can see text. I save emoji stuff for programs that support them both ways.

From what I have read in this forum, you can still use emoji so long as you insert spaces between the text and the symbol (android users can still read message). The emoji symbols should be isolated.
