First level to get stuck on. Any suggestions? I'm assuming it's some kind of trick with the Fruit that blows up entire rows but seldom get those. Thank you in advance

Ok, finally passed ths level. The key is to combine the sunshine fruit with at least one line busting fruit. In my case I did a sunshine combined with two line busters, one vertical and one horizontal and that worked.

You don't have to have a bomb (sunshine fruit,) though...but they are certainly useful! ;) And the vertical blasters are great, too (& take out more mud than the horizontal ones,) so check out this thread (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?63896-Ability-to-control-boost-direction) to control blaster direction.

Just make "7 or more" matches to get blasters, and "14 or more" matches to get a bomb + a blaster. Plan your moves as best you can, as there are very few on this level. In fact, make sure you have at least a good 7+ fruit match when you start. If you don't see one, restart the level (press pause, then back arrow...doesn't use an energy as long as you don't touch anything.) No use wasting moves on a yucky board! You can take out some mud with regular fruit matches, then use blasters on others. (Remember when using a blaster, the row or column where you end your swipe is the one that gets blasted...)

Here's an example...I played the level again to get these screenshots. (Did much better the first time, lol! This time my "win" came down to the last move!) This is how the level looks when you start:

I got down to my last move and had 1 mud left. But my vertical blaster was waiting to take it out! The first screenshot below is the "before"...showing the yellow blasters. The 2nd shot shows the fruit string I made, that will take out the last mud. I start at the bottom, and move up and over, aiming for the mud. Notice as you move your finger along the fruit string, the "shadow" follows--it shows the row and/or column that will be blasted when you take your finger away.

In this example, I had both a horizontal and vertical blaster...that's why the row and column are shaded. But it would've worked the same to take out the mud with just one.

Note: When you use a blaster with a bomb (sunshine-looking fruit) though, the blast range is wider...3 rows wide if paired w/horiz. blaster; 3 columns wide if paired with a vertical blaster.
Note2: If you use a blaster to aim at another blaster, it will activate it (in the opposite direction of the blaster you're aiming.) Example: If you point a vertical blaster at another vertical blaster, it will change its direction, and blast the row that it's in (horizontally.)
