After spending money on the fortune teller for two fortunes I'm weary. What's the drops at the royal manor do you get any? And is there an alicorn limit

Manor only drops coins. There is no alicorn limit. You can also consider glimmerdust troves or a second wizard school if you do not have those already.

The Manor was designed to help lower-level players gain more Royal Points. If you have enough Royal Points for the expansions you want to do, then it is probably not worth it for you.
