Not getting to download games for gems

My friend and I are both on castle story. She is getting all these messages to download free games and she gets thirty gems every time. I'm not getting any of these messages and I was just wondering why and if there is a glitch. I'm using an IPad 2 and she is using and IPod touch.

These goals to out to random people.... If you already download these games before goal pops up you won't get the goal in your game.

Please note that iOS users don't get gems to download goals. There are other unrelated goals that do give gems.
