Dragon growing

Just wondering how long it takes for the dragon to grow. I am assuming he will give me dragon scales I am desperately waiting for. I have been feeding him for over 2 days now and all I am getting is a blue star. Can anyone help me please? Eagerly awaiting your replies.

I found the dragon to be very slow to grow to it's adult stage.

It may have taken 4 - 5 days as far as I can recollect.

He takes about 20 feeds to grow. Once grown you can collect once a day. You won't always get scales as it can drop swords, armour, gems, coal etc as well.

Yea.. Yesterday I got coal from my dragon. First thought - a Scrooge of a dragon. :D
