Tournament frequency?

Can anyone tell me how often tournaments are released? Is it once a month or twice, or somewhat random?

twice a month on Tuesday.

Yes they start every other Tuesday and the next one is due this Tuesday.

It's very clever, constantly keeping ppl on their toes, not giving much time to level up dragons inbetween tourneys with normal harvesting, stressful for some surely.

It is good though that the constant stream of tournaments makes them less special, so if missing out on a few of the reward dragons (which aren't that extremely useful anyway judging but battle results) it doesn't matter much. At least myself i think the many tournaments makes it easier playing DS more casually! :)

Except for leviathan, you get two tournaments per battle arena crafting dragon. So Immortal will most likely be around until just after the 2nd tournament if you're going for that dragon too.
