Dragon at level 12?

I couldn't completely the last tournament due to having to battle a Origami Dragon that was on a level 12! Since level 10 is the max that I can level my dragons up to I don't understand how it's possible for there to be a level 12 dragon.

Your Dragons currently max out at level 10. However, it's possible for NPC Dragons to be a higher level. These Dragons can still be defeated. You can get tips from players on the active Tournament thread. :)
