Cant access the 2nd case

Have u tried force closing game and re opening.....that sometimes will fix things

If force closing doesn't help, you might also try deleting and reinstalling the game. Your data is saved on our servers, so no need to worry about losing your progress. :)

Hmmm.... I just started this case today and haven't had problems with it. So that implies that the issue is not on TL's side. But I don't know what to tell you since you've done all the normal trouble-shooting steps.

I'll flag the problem over, but the TL staff is probably on vacation today so you'll probably have to wait until they are back at work for help.

Same. I was in the middle of this case but the third room location has been "downloading" for hours now. Force closed & reinstalled and nothing has changed other than me not being able to open the second case at all now because it's "downloading".

For anyone unable to download case 2, can you make sure you have an active connection? Mystery Crimes does support an offline mode, so you can continue to play when you don't have any internet access. You will need to connect to the internet in order to download any new scenes or additional content. Please let me know if this explains any troubles you were encountering.

Nothing changes. Case 2 is still locked even though it says 23% solved. "Downloading...please wait" is covering the "play" button and the cover for case 2 is the crime scene tape as if I was never in there (as stated earlier, I was but now I'm locked out completely from case 2).

Case 2 is still frozen on "Downloading". When I got to case 2 the energy level increased. To **** time I decided to go back & play some of the "find the objects" in case 1. The problem with that is it sucks down the new energy, but because case 2 is frozen, the energy level is not increasing anymore.
I just used up my new case 2 energy level while waiting for the downloading problem to be fixed.
I've deleted & reinstalled 6 times and still I get the "downloading" bug.

To help solve this problem, please be sure to list your device and your iOS.

Also check to make sure you are running the lastest version of the game, which is 1.2.2

Everyone i believe i found the problem! There is nothing wrong with the game. The root of the problem would be with your internet connection! U need to have patience. My husband discoverrd if you actually wait, it will work. I tried it and it worked for me. We dont have high speed internet but it actually is downloading. Took me 10 minutes to get in but i did. U cant leave the app though u have to keep it open and just wait. Hope this helps. Good luck everyone.



P.S. Before trying this make sure u force close and re open. Do not let the screen go black either. Just wait and it will eventually load.

Same problem here! I think it may have even started with the first case for me. It will pop up with a new scene but say "DOWNLOADING... PLEASE WAIT" if I click it. The first time it only lasted a few minutes. The next time it took much longer (I restarted the game, turned my phone off/on, etc.) and it still took several hours. I think this scene has been "downloading" since yesterday. I cannot progress in the case until I search the new scene; meanwhile my energy is maxed out. I could search the existing scene over and over again but that isn't much fun ;)

I was able to get in thanks to your post. I believe my Internet connection was the problem. I deleted the app, restarted my phone, re-installed the app, and switched to the 3G on my iphone and let the game stay open and after a couple of minutes it downloaded and I am in case 2. Thanks!

Okay, so anyone who is having this problem: Go into the game, start downloading the scene and WAIT. Do not exit the game, do not turn off your device, just wait.

Wait 10 or 15 minutes.

if you don't want to wait as long, make sure you are downloading through a fast WiFi connection or through 4G.

After carefully babysitting the screen for 40 minutes, I walked into the kitchen only to come back to see the screen black....ugh!

My iOS is updated to 7.0.4 version.
I'm trying to install the 1.2.2 version of the game.
I've already restarded my device twice and disinstalled and reinstalled the game.
The problem remains: Case No. 1 is solved; case No. 2 is not accessible. It is permanently downloding, but nothing changes.

I was frozen on the "downloading" screen for a week.
Then I read the post by Sabbywabby. Leave the "downloading" screen open....don't exit the game or let the screen go black.
Mine took about 20 minutes to "load"

I'm having the same issue, and blaming it on the players' internet is not helpful. Any game that requires you to leave the app fully open with the device unlocked for an indeterminate amount of time to get a single level downloaded has a problem somewhere else. It's more than enough to make people stop playing the game. And, for the record, I left mine open and unlocked overnight and still failed to download the case (and yes, I have high-speed internet access).

The downloading scenes issue should be fixed with the next version update.
You an try a workaround until then:

Delete and redownload the game and leave the game (open) active for 10-15 minutes (this includes not allowing the screen to auto lock).
