Manticore whiskers for mineral challenge

I need manticore whiskers but my manticore is just not dropping them ! Can you get these anywhere else I refuse to use more gems. It keeps dropping fur but I need the whiskers.
Sooooo annoying !!!

I'm maxed out on whiskers. My first Manticore would drop fur one collection and whiskers the next and this went in rotation apart from the odd mysterious venom would drop instead.
