How about us who are outside the USA??? like me I been playing this games for a long time.. and We are not included in the sweeptakes!!!

LOL this is too funny - first making so many players angry with ill functioning events , then calm loads of them down with Thanksgiving sales where ppl can give away their gold for new dragons, so far so good, back to starting point i guess, players happy and dollars incoming! And next they implement a new event that shuts big part of playerbase out, and there we go, angry players again! Myself i don't mind getting shut out, not involving myself in any transactions with TL, but it's really not a nice thing to do imo. Ah well, don't worry, fellow non-americans, they'll comfort you with more sales surely! :)

Here are my guesses: Thanksgiving is the US holiday being celebrated hence the title Thanksgiving Sweepstakes. Likely NY and FL have regulations that preclude this sweepstake from being viable in those states.

Yeah, I don't know why it's just USA. They used to run these sweepstakes a fair bit around Halloween last year and they never said anythign about USA only. I never did win (& I live in Oz) so maybe the rules were the same, they just weren't clear about it those first few times. Bummed out... I sure could use 4500 gold :(

Yes, each one you breed or buy gets you another entry into the sweepstakes.

There are laws associated with any "lottery", sweepstakes or game of chance. I am guessing that the rules set forth by TL for eligabilty are based on USA law since they are a US company and bound by those laws.

It is not a personal thing it is just the laws they have to abide by.

You are exactly correct. Florida and NY have also layered laws onto such "games of chance", thereby making not a viable game to attempt in those states.if you do not like the laws, vote your incumbents out.

It really ticks me off when TL has these lil sweepstakes and make the dragons nearly impossible to obtain. I don't see a point in participating when I know foa a fact that I'll NEVER win anything. Oh, and BT-Dub, I still don't have this dragon.
