Im both on android and ios...today after reset ...i got popup of black friday sales on android....but didnt get it on ios....so am wondering whether the sale will be only on android ??? Pls help

We get the at least 40% off sales in all of TLs games. Even those who never got sales or find them infrequent. They push them out to everyone! Gonna be too fun. I'll be broke that's for sure. I don't know about you all but I have no shame in looking at the clock and counting down the hours. Hoping they'll pass quickly.....

I'm super excited for the gem sale.

This will be my first Christmas season playing Bakery Story, and I can not wait to decorate with the cute stuff they come out with. I'm gonna try to do it with mainly coins, but I will probably buy maybe 50 or so gems tomorrow depending on what the prices go down to.

This sale is not normally a gem sale... They tend to bring back old LTOs and only sell them for 24 hours... So, hopefully you have some gems saved up to get things!! :) I've been baking like mad man! :)

It's usually both. I've gotten a 40% off gem sale in all games for the last two years on Black Friday. I would be very surprised if they don't have the same this year.

If you aren't seeing a popup I wouldn't worry about it, black Friday is happening for everyone in the games. You can visit blog.teamlava.com and there is a post about black Friday if that will make you feel any better.

I just asked the same question. Gem sales should start at midnight Pacific Time, but I have no clue about the LTOs, content sales. Like OnCloudDivine told me, it would only make sense for them to start at the same time if they are 24 hour sales, but who really knows with TL.

They did give a refund, don't get me wrong. But it did take some time in order to issue those refunds with limited staff after the holiday, meaning any players that had few to little gems wouldn't have been able to make any other purchases before the sales ended.

I honestly wouldn't put anything past TL... but anything I HAVE to have, like you said, I will buy right away. The highest item was what, 40 gems last year when the "real prices" were added. So anything above that, I will be hesitant.

I agree that the duck fountain is incredible, I wished for it long time ago lol. I bought it along with mother gazebo, and fruit fountain, and 3 small streams with stones around, i dont know what it's called, the one with 4g only. This whole time what I've really wanted is the sampler cart,mainly because I thought the pastry hub was impossible to get. Now I'm wondering if I should get it for the sake of having it. But...

Part of me is like, "Yay!" and the other part wonders what the point is in buying boxes in the first place.

Ok, I've got about 190 gems (it's times like this that make you want to cry after having accidentally tapped 'open extra oven slot'). I want the pastry couch, and the coffee break looks tempting. Space is limited though. Bah. And I also want to save for Christmas just in case...

When I saw the sampler Cart I think a tiny tear slipped out of the corner of my eye. This box and the one with the duck pond tortured me for over a year.

If you really want it, get it. Some new items may come Monday and next month. But with the prices being around $5.99 for a decent item gems can be bought again. I regretted not finding a way to get the fairy grotto last year. Now I have two. I just bought that dumb Statue of Liberty stand by accident. I'm done for the day.

You're an enabler! ;) I totally feel you on becoming teary on getting the sampler cart. My life will be fulfilled at that point.

My other problem is that my space is limited, and I don't want to use gems to expand (but at this point the next expansion is for 20 mil so it'll be a while for me to rack up another 10m in coins. I don't think I'd be able to do both the coffee break and the pastry hub.

For those saying they don't have space, I have the biggest size bakery available and I STILL don't have enough space for all my decorations. Even if it's a glitch, prices need to be made uniform. Otherwise it's unfair. If some players are getting 35gem prices then all players must bave the ability to buy at that price. And those who have already bought at a higher price need to get refunds. I hope I don't get banned for saying something critical, but this is a matter of customer satisfaction, right?

Based on the other thread it looks like the items are being advertised at lower amounts but when the users make their purchase they're being charged the same amount as the rest of us (the regular prices).

You really gotta ask? Anything less than six would be a crime! Would have gotten more but the Statue of Liberty ruined my design plan. When it came out I was a kinda newbie player and only got one.

I always had this idea plan where I'd have them going from one end of the bakery to the other. And the clones has to walk between them, as if they were crossing a bridge. Now they are just surround my duck ponds because I can't get more.

but right now i've got the grand central clock, the empire state lamp, the broadway sign, a whole bunch of taxi stools, and the nyc ovens and drink machines, so i'm totally happy with her, even if i probably would have rather had the nyc cake from that box. :-)

I bought the Pastry Hub over the Coffee Break because I like it better, anytime I'd see Pastry Hub in another bakery I'd pause and look at it, there's something about it, it's so pink and pretty and perfect for a bakery. That's just my taste though. Get whichever appeals to you most.

Got the barista counter! I definitely like spending gems on items I can use year round, even though that autumn feast is amazing. Not sure if I'll spend anymore tonight. Wiiiiiish I had enough for the pastry hub! Personally I prefer it over the coffee break. The fountains are awesome too. *sigh* haha

A neighbor pointed out coffee break is larger though. She was kind enough to put them out on her floor to show me but I'm still back and forth.

My bakery has a pink-yellow theme (outside of holiday themes) so either would work, although pastry hub is certainly more delicate and cute.

I keep a pink/yellow, pink/brown or a pink/green theme. I kept my candy carousel, coffee break and Eiffel Tower out at all times. Now the carousel is in for a while as I have no space, the coffee break may have to go because I need to put some Xmas items out. Even with the max space available I'm still unable to fit everything. I want an erratic bakery and it's driving me nuts how semi tidy it is right now. Why can't we have expansions?

Yeah I blew almost 250 gems (had over 300 earned gems saved up) today. I am content to look at some of the items in my neighbor's bakeries (lots of them have the barista counter, for instance), whereas I mostly bought things that are pink/floral/pastry themed. Problem is now my bakery which was formerly decorated in sections prominently featuring orange for the fall is now all messed up and stuffed with random incongruous Black Friday purchases, some of which are highly out of season--may have to shuffle some of them off to storage soon for Christmas decor. Still keeping 50+ gems in store in case that lotus fountain ever shows up for cyber monday or day after Christmas. :P I think last year the items on sale for those days were pretty much the same as Black Friday though.

Some were in a box, but boxes are a chance, you never know what you're gonna get. This is a rare chance to actually get your hands on items you want. Also some of the items didn't come in a box, but were rather sold as Limited Time Offers throughout the years. Some I tink were also regular items that were sold but then removed from the store to make room for new items.

Did your gem amount decrease by that amount as well? One user reported still being charged the original price after tapping to purchase.

Um...how often do you shop for something and know exactly what the price was prior to you purchasing it? It's a little different. And ACTUALLY, on a popular website, they'll actually refund you the difference if the price drops in a 7 day period AUTOMATICALLY. So yeah.

Yup, that could be one of the reason too and it's much bigger when you compared it with the fruit fountain for the same price. I just bought the 275 gems pack. First time in my years of playing! >_< It's so hard to resist! Bought the pastry hub since it's the one I wanted the most and the autumn feast. Now I'm considering coffee break or duck fountain? Just to add to earlier complaint, I'm on android, and when I saw prices go down I bought the water garden first and definitely saw my gem count only go down by 3, and when I bought the duck fountain, I saw the little -35 indicator float away when I tapped again to purchase. Perhaps person who saw lower prices but was charged original prices happened to be buying right when they switched?

And in real life, you can go back to a store where you just bought something and often get the difference back if it went on sale. Not always, sometimes they specifically exclude previously purchased items in promotions, but certainly no retailer does that in same day sales. (or I'm just old and remember when they did that.)

I had lots of near panic attacks when my daughter would go near my ipad. In the name of "helping" Mommie, she's used a bunch of gems in castle, dragon, fashion and here. I had lots of near panic attacks when my daughter would go near my ipad. In the name of "helping" Mommie, she's used a bunch of gems in castle, dragon, fashion and here. I'm sorry, but I burst out chuckling. My gosh! I'd have been miffed. With my daughter I just rolled my eyes and started replacing what she took. Did he do it with the instant cook? What did he say when he realized what he'd done? Jeez!

In Dragon Story there is a button where you can buy food for gold, although I don't think anyone uses it intentionally for the most part as it's a total waste. He clicked that and bought 20,000 fireapples or something.

Ouch! That would have a total, you better get your credit card out dude, moment. In dragon i bought food ONCE when I really understood the game better, right before I got my first diamond. I came here asking folks if they ever did it and they ripped me APART. I got a bunch of invites and was told my dragons are all babies and isn't it cute how I like them like that. I told them, uh, I don't have money for food! They were like, dude, you stink as a player. Collect, save, plant, feed, tah dah! Those were the days....

When I first start playing here and didn't understand much I used gems to speed cook, because I didn't know I could block the door.

Oh god, that brings back memories. I didn't have many coins so I asked a friend who'd been playing for a month or so whether I should spend 10 gems for 100k in coins. She wasn't entirely sure but recommended I save my gems. Wise woman.

Also, I kept my Boo dragon as a baby because I thought he was cutest in that form. No shame! (I don't play anymote though so he'll be stuck in perpetual youth now.)
