That's what I was doing for real trying for crusader..it didn't give any parts so I tried breeding a turkey then the timer was gone...don't know if there was a glitch and that's why I didn't get nothing w fire and diamond or what..sounds like there's a few problems w it!!

Wouldn't that be nice, but the drops are random and I haven't seen anyone get any from Fire or Forest eggs hatched.

I'm already set up to fail as I can, from past experience only get parts from 20 hour crops. If I only have 10 days and I can get 6 parts a day I'm already 19 short. The 6 a day is never a guarantee as sometimes crops yield less.:mad:

These ding dongs changed mine to 71/10/13 now, and I thought I was going to get to finish it. Now down to 10 days with drop rates so low you'll have to get down to the floor to actually see them lol.

Mine is 79/10/16, too, but only 1550 gold to buy all. And only 10 days instead of 2 weeks! Why are these games not consistent for everybody?!?

The regular version is the most current version to be playing. It includes bug and performance fixes that the Halloween version does not have.

Try restarting your device to see if it shows back up.

Be careful when coming into your game after it has been left open. Collect from some habitats or visit a neighbor to allow your game time to sync up with the servers before working on the summoning to make sure what you do gets saved.

1st when showed up it was 53/10/13 total of 76 " Magnetic 70 and Steampunk 76 and my eggs where ready so i hatched and got 2 golden chains of 14 days
but now it been changed its 71/10/13 total of 94 of 10 days
TL whats going on ?when you will stop *****ing us??? even last time been tricked by boosts by showing 200 coins to boost but where taking 12 gold each time

Now it's 70 and 96 with a total of 1655 to buy all, what happened TL? It's bad enough the timer went down by 4 days and I'm unsure if I'll be able to complete all tasks, but you've increased amounts we have to harvest/hatch/quest for.
What gives? Can you please return the amounts to something we can actually strive for? Thankyou :)

Ok this is stupid :mad: on the right of my iPad the summoning says 14 days but check what the actual pic says when I click on it, oh and I have to collect a lot more stuff to get these dragons. So far the summoning is not working out for me, I have zero dragons from it. I rather try my luck breeding them.

No gold in return, and I was complaining about spider, they say the spider is expired and gone already( of course it's expired because they replied it over than a week and spider was on limited, duh TL). So I can only say bye2 to my gold saving.

I think that may have only been for the first beta test. For the last one I'm sure that all iOS had the summoning. On my android account they are not in the market to breed either :(

I'm still baffled by the fact that people get stuck with different amounts of things to collect. Its really the only thing that TL does that I find particularly shady (though I do still think its a code issue with a "we're testing" excuse.)

The new version of the game seems very laggy too. It takes a lot longer to load than the Halloween one did.

I had a head start w gold now I'm out a bunch of gold and no chains I only had 2 bolts but I sped up diamond dates to see it they worked or not then I sped up a quest to see if that worked and now nothing I finally got that stupid dragon to stay in the nest and it said it gave me 1 chain but I checked and still nothing...can someone help me?? A little helpful bit of advice--I learned from the Halloween summoning that only scalypears will give you enough items to complete the quest. Most of the time, you will get one item from each scalypears you grow. All the other crops simply don't give enough.

Ok I have got my summoning back.

When I downloaded the original version it downloaded from the cloud but didn't show any update. I had to go back into app store, click on details to show the new version 1.7.3 and then an update button appeared. Updated and now the 10 day summoning is on my game.

The 2 bolts I had already collected are not back in the storage though.

Hmm, i wonder, these summoning events- is it usually possible getting through them even if not having loads of gold to spend? Or is it really just another trick to force players to buy gold? I'm in on spending time and a good batch of coins on stuff, but it'd suck if i realize near end that i can't finish because i must harvest superexpensive crops only or get gold to speed up things...

If you're not seeing Dragon Summoning, please make sure you are on version 1.7.3. If you're not sure, you can check by going go Menu > Help/FAQ, black text in the bottom right corner.

Do you have any spare nests? If so buy light dragon eggs or something so that you have more to hatch :)

One day in and so far got nothing... this is one situation I wish I was 'screwed' :p Does anybody know if we can get a 2x chance bonus by speeding up with gold? One or two gold is better than 20 for a screw. The dragons are so cool that I might even be willing to spend a bit of gold to get the 2x boost. There is definitely zero chance of getting them in 10 days without spending gold. Btw, is anyone certain about the only hatching hybrids drops comment i saw earlier. This is going to be another frustrating weekend, last,week we had no contact with neighbours due to slow running & processing this week planting 8hr & 5hr foods with no rewards. Hatched two eggs with no rewards. Need a miracle or a ton of gold to,achieve this summoning

As for the food, the only thing that drops is the 20 hour crop. One bolt per farm is what I have gotten.

Someone said "shameful" on here, and it truly is a bit embarrasing - i guess we won't see these guys create a proper computer game hmm....

But anyway, a pity i missed out on that user-friendly breeding boost! :p

yes. for some of us the costs was 500k ( others werent so lucky and they had to pay gold from the beginning ). i used it when i was trying for limited dragons ( these days seems like every dragon is about to expire except those ugly commons ) and it didn't work very good...however, i got moon, metal and cornucopia with that option.

i received 1 item for hatching a sunrise fail. I have no problems with getting items from hatching YET ! But the harvesting is BAD as always ! i managed to get wraith and headless when they decided to give us extra time...im wondering if they will do the same thing now !

I agree. For the last two summon events the timer has been extended due to problems and poor drop rates. And what happens? They shorten the timer this time. It ridiculous. Yesterday I got exactly one bolt from 5 harvests. I did 3 lots of diamondates and 2 rushrooms. One bolt dropped from the first harvest of the day, then zilch. I thought they were fixing this, not making it truly impossible >:(

How am I supposed to get 71 bolts in only 9 days? I only got 3 bolts today and my friend only got 1 bolt between today AND yesterday. And that's with the 5 hour timer. If you do 20 hour timer its more likely, but then that's only 6 bolts a day. And if you do lower settings (3mins - 1 hour) I don't get ANY bolts which is why I do 5 hours.

This is quite literally impossible in only 9 days, what are they doing....I just barely finished even with 14 days later time, but only 9 this time?!

The only ones that were "gold only" were treasure dragons, but that at least made sense because they grant gold.

It is very very shady of them to release dragons that -appear- to be earnable, but tweak the settings so monstrously that it's not actually possible. I think that is what bothers me most with this situation, is how badly they messed up the system compared to the last time we had summoning dragons. There was no reason for them to make these changes other than to deprive dedicated players.

With these types of casual apps, cash payments/profit come from shortcuts/boosts, which customers -become- inclined to utilize in exchange for saving their effort, by their own free will. That's an angle I didn't really think of. The hand is forced, so to speak, by creating an idea that one can get these dragons with effort alone. However, when it is realized that that is futile, one either spends the gold, or comes to realize he/she wasted effort.

They have been doing too many changes in this direction lately though. The whole point of this game is to collect dragons. Why will people keep playing if they are unable to do that? I haven't been able to get ANY of the holiday dragons. I got stuck on independence and then they remove them so fast the next one has a countdown before you even finished breeding the previous one. Next thing you know you've been forced to "skip" 10 dragons in just 1 month, talk about discouraging!!!
My point is, it's a game about collecting something so YES people have a RIGHT to have a fair chance at collecting stuff. Don't make those somethings collectible b/c then you're undermining people's incentives to continue playing. :P No one downloads apps with the intention of buying their way through the whole thing, money is a boost not a replacement.

I think i wont even try this Summoning, i need feed many dragons and not wait 5 or more hours and yet be unsure if i collect something. This is wrong set by TL, and till they wont fix it to normal way, so ppl really like to collect, I wont play any more any summoning. Is nonsense to try for something, you cant make.

While I'm the first to admit that harvesting is always screwed up in the summonings, it's been my experience that you'll do better if you plant crops with longer growing times than 5 hours, and many people in this thread have said the same thing. I would recommend shooting for 3 plantings of elite leeks per day. I often don't make it and end up planting two crops of leeks and one of dates or pumpwings. Some players insist that 20 hr plantings are the only way to go but I think that's a bit risky unless you can actually plant every 20 hrs rather than once per day.

I find it amazing how the hunt for profit is allowed to shine through so clearly in everythibg they do - without it there'd be no point in creating and maintaining a game ofc, so in the end it is a must to lure ppl into pay to play even if free to play....but jee at least try to cover it up a bit! Embarassing tbh!

As for the summoning i've given up on it, but just as in the extremely buggy tournament i'll stay in it casually - test this and that, waste some coins and time, see how bad it can get lol! Soon harvesting the 20 hour crops after getting lousy result from other types, will be interesting seeing if this is any better! If not i guess i'll buy some gold to get through event.....LOL JOKING OFC! :D

Depends on how long you speed up. If you plant 8 hr etileeks and you sped up immediately (16gold) your chance of getting 1 harvest is very high. If you plant scalypears and speed up 40 gold immediately you are highly likely to have 2 harvest.

However, if you plant etileeks and waited and then used 11 gold you might not get any harvest at all.

Have some new results:
Hatched 3 waters, got chains for each. I think I got 2 chains for hatching Turkey.
Planted 3 Elite leeks and 3 Scaly Pears.
Got 2 bolts from 3 Elite leeks & 5 bolts from 3 Scalypears.
Each of 2 quests have given me 1 gear.
So I finished collecting chains, and I should be able to get gears if I send out quests constantly. I'm going to keep planting 8 & 20 hour crops, and hope I can make it or at least get close.
So don't give up hope yet!

And I've hatched 4 eggs since this has started and I've only gotten one gold chain, what gives?? Is is because they have all been awful Winter fails?

Who knows, I've noticed that sometimes TL does extend the timer on things. For example, dragon summoning every single time, the spirit scythes and the item before that for battle arena crafting dragons. The only problem is I think this only happens after either the timer ends or there are 1 or 2 hours left. So if you're unable to be online at that time, then its not safe to wait to buy them since you never know when they won't extend timers.

Just harvested 7 bolts from 6 of the 20 hour crops, mathematics tells me that isn't enough in reality (unless randomness was to strike down again lol) so gone back to my normal farming and feeding instead.

As for the hatching i'm breeding Life/Fire, i thought that short timers might compensate for lesser odds of getting chain from Life dragons, but so far i've gotten none from them. But, i didn't get any from earlier Parakeet either, so randomness rules i guess - i'll just continue with this combo and maybe get a Landworm or Dino out of event, rather than the summoning dragons!

The questing is doable, but i see no point in spending a bunch of coins on it really if not pulling through on the other tasks...ah well, i'll just continue with it though, who knows, maybe game bugs out and i get a week extra for summoning stuff LOL! :D

I said various crops of more than 5 hours that includes the 8 hr ones and 20 hour ones yet still only 5 bolts and my 20 hr crops are not getting me multiple bolts per crop like some people have said.....frustrating.....it will be impossible to finish in the time allotted with my drop rates

After last night I didn't get any bolts from diamondates, I plant 8 hrs and got 6 bolts from this morning, and I plan again 8 hrs crop, we'll see later how many I get. So far I got 17:1:3 total 21 from 105. Please let the drop be good. :D

It is mathematically impossible to get enough items from the summoning.

In my game, the summoning for the magnetic and steampunk dragons wants 71 bolts, 10 gears, and 13 chains. I did the math, and with 10 days (that is, if you started working on the summoning the instant it started), you can plant and harvest Scalypears 9 times (because you have to wait almost an entire day to harvest the first batch). 9 times 6 is 54. Even with some batches of pumpwings or diamondates thrown in there (which usually give you only 1 bolt out of the 6 farms), it would be 63 at the utmost. So, it is mathematically impossible to do this in 10 days without gold.

Furthermore, it's going to be impossible for me to get enough chains from hatching dragons. I've already hatched four (plus a fire and a forest which I'm assuming don't count because they're so short) and I have not gotten a single chain. (Yes, I did place them in habitats; I did not sell them.) In order to get enough chains, I'd have to hatch dragons at a rate of nearly two per day (not always a guarantee, depending on the length of whatever dragon you breed) and get a chain from every single one in order to complete this quest. Yet either the drop rate of chains is so low that it's impossible, or there's a bug in my game that's keeping it from dropping any chains.

I don't think the poor droprates are a glitch or mistake, i believe it's set up this way to make players use gold. Some will ofc be lucky and get better droprate even if odds for being one of them isn't high, so the rest of us cannot complain - we're just part of the unlucky majority (?)...

It's very clever, judging by reactions on forum they may have overdone it a bit, but we can't really complain about it - and game developers have families to feed too! :D

I got an extra bolt from my scallypears crop, but I agree with you, I don't see how it is possible. I have had long fails which mean less than 1 dragon per day. Not sure why they insist on making a random activity so time restricted.
