(Drops various food items upon every collection. A good addition to your Kitchen.)

Sap Dropped by sawmill, trees (all have the same rate), tree log, adventures, Sir Piggy, Ivy's hut, Trapper trade. Dead trees don't drop it. Can be a gift

btw if i need sap asap i just use tree log

I sent out my knights this morning, too, so I have to wait until tomorrow morning to send them out via my King's Castle.

Because I'm a little bit worried about getting all the bricks (I have family related stuff to do this weekend and all next week, so won't be playing as much), I wound up buying the Barracks. (I do understand that the adventures through the Barracks take twice as long, but any little edge helps with these time limited goals, right? ;) )

Yea...put mine (glimmerbat) in storage too. Doesn't really do anything except drop fruit (which I don't even need) and the coins aren't worth the trouble. Hadn't been collecting from it for days anyway. It was just sitting there.

I have the same.... I'm playing over a year now, and it always too crowded (since almost the beginning) to place every building in your kingdom. Even now, I have to store some Greselda stuff in my inventory to be able to build this new thing. It is nice there will come more expansions (I saw the * wink wink *), but it would be GREAT if I could get space in my kingdom to kinda show off all the buildings at least once I ALREADY HAVE, to show myself why I did in this game (and also the neighbors - let's say as some kind of trophy). I was so happy with the last expansions, but they we're al necessary for the Greselda and Glimmergate quests. I hope, for the players who play this game for over a year, there will be at least 3-5 more expansion fields next to all the necessary (in the future needed) space, just to get my buildings and decorations out of my storage.

THAT would make me VERY HAPPY.

For the rest, I'm so glad with the new updates lately, and the graphics, so please keep them coming! But, if you like to send my a X-Mas gift, why not space for my stuff in my inventory ;) I really would like to have all (at least one of every) building in my kingdom, with some decorations as well, in a organized way. So that it looks nice :)

I hope Team Lave will take this in consideration. I have more then 60 lanterns left in my inventory :)

I lucked out and had my barracks knights coming back from a Vault adventure when I got the message for the Harvest Pergola. I built that first and when I collect from the barracks, I got 10 bricks. I'm cooking up simple feast for the next one.

Expansions would be nice but I have at least one of every building offered, double workshops, kitchens, and libraries. All the Greselda stuff, some decor, lots of trees, and a special Valentine corner. But another offering the size of the pergola would be had to fit in. I just made that one.

I just logged on and collected from my adventure (sent yesterday evening)... I don't remember if it was the ancient vaults adventure or not... it dropped 18 energy (+ random items), and I got 7 fire bricks from it. Perfect timing really, since in 30 minutes my other building (forgot what it's called, the one that does 2-day adventure) can be collected and that one *is* ancient vaults so I'd be getting more fire bricks again pretty soon! Too bad I don't have enough resources / food to cook up another feast so soon...

Re upgrading the pergola....I have built it, first step, and sent out my knights to search the ancient vaults, but when I click on the pergola, it just tells me how much time is left, it doesn't show me the "upgrade" option of needing the 20 fire wood, 6 special glue, etc.......is something wrong with mine, or do I need to wait until my knights have returned from their adventure before it shows that? It can't be that I don't have any fire wood yet, because in the photo on page two, they don't have any yet either?

- ancient vault for this new quest, desert for the burning amber and glimmer gate for the Allergic to Light quest.

With the 9 day timeline, I have to delay other goals again (btw, thx for no adventure for the upcoming sheep)

I had the same issue, but after I forced closed Castle Story and relaunched it, the Upgrade option appeared.

I was told that after the upgrade that requires Fire Brick there is new goal that requires you to go on Roaming Bandits adventure where you have to get one item.... I don't know do we get that item on the first try or not....

You guys should re-use some of your past content for people who missed it the first time around. Love shack, V-day quests, gilmmerbat, turkey cow/pig/sheep/chicken is easy to add content you could use. Make it cycle up once every 3-4 months if the quests are not completed by the user. Plus this will also stop people from complaining they join late and it's unfair they don't have x item cause they didn't play that week. Also keep the quests timed to x days so if they fail they have to use gems or wait until the next 3-4 month cycle to roll around.

One of my neighbors appears to have the next upgraded version of the Pergola, so it appears that ther is at least two upgrades required from the initial version. I have no idea what materials are needed, and he/she is kind of mum on it.

That's not fair if there's no guarantee of the blueprints. So you need to have many hearty feasts meal done. This is also has a time limit goal.

20 firebricks needed by sending on a 22 hr adventure: I received 8, on another 22 hr adventure to try to get the 20
Basically, what do I need to get collecting to level up. I'm pretty iffy on wether or not I will get the hide needed.
Is there away to increase hide drops?

Make sure you do not have any other monsters in your kingdom . You can only have monster in your kingdom at a time.

Once you close the gate the shards and fragments seem to become random (not guaranteed). Keep collecting from the gate and you will get them (it'll just take time).

Aaargh, that is the whole stockpile of leaves and felt and the sheep quest will have started before I can even use them up on this one so no time to stock up extra... oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

I got them from 3 adventures - luckily I already had two ancient vault adventures running when the goal appeared, and both dropped fire bricks on completion, so only had to send them out once more.

I bought the pergola but tapping at it it doesn't show the parts needed. I read that I have to force close the game. How do I do this? (Ipad4 and iphone4). And I haven't built a queens keep so far. So no vaults. What shall I do?

I got them from 3 adventures - luckily I already had two ancient vault adventures running when the goal appeared, and both dropped fire bricks on completion, so only had to send them out once more.

I don't have the barracks so can only send quests out once a day. Our updates appear at 8pm UK time, so had already sent a non ancient vault quest out in the morning, so today was the first chance to obtain any fire bricks. I never thought we might need to do adventures for this update. On update days, I never collect from buildings that take more than a few hours between collections just in case they're needed for quest lines.

I just hope the bricks aren't like the felt collections, where first drop was great as I got 7 and 6 from each market and the next collections between 2 and 3 each time.

Double tap the 'Home' button. The window shrinks so you can see all the open apps running in the background. If you have the IOS7+ upgrade, you just swipe up and away. You should do this often since these apps are using some of your resources by not being fully closed. I force close several times a day if I'm on my iPad or iPhone a lot during the day.

Fang beasts show up when collecting from farm animals, farm buildings and some crops, tho I can't remember which right now.
I know skunkupines are triggered mostly by wheat & sugar cane.
Anybody else have suggestions for girufel?

For fang beasts I harvest anything red and that works, like strawberries and peppers. Also when I collect from sheeps and all four hatcheries and stable at one time they come out. But I have to be collecting multiples of each. So if I WANT a fang beast I wait until I have at least 10 energy then harvest 10 red crop and 99% of the time at least one will pop up. I fight it then with remaining energy re collect all at once and then usually another will pop up, so on and so on until no more energy. I also keep all my like animals together, sheep with sheep, chickens with chickens and gather all at once to make the beasts appear.

If I don't want any of the beasts to appear I only harvest, water, collect a few items at a time and move around, this mostly works to keep them away.

You need to build the queens keep before you can do this quest line as you will have to go on the adventures to get all the parts needed.

Either ask friends to gift the remaining 6. Or, if you have acer trees, make sure you aren't maxed out on wood as this seems to stop them dropping so much. Just use some wood on anything and then chop the acer trees, seemed to work for me.

yeah that is beyond messed up. It should have the same limit that everything else has. It's like they want us to struggle and sweat again each time that we need it because we can't collect more until we have gotten to the point in each quest where we use the felt! Not cool.

Now is a really good time to grow more acer trees so you can immediately start chopping for more fall leaves. Similarly the build costs for the marketplace are low enough you can build several more and keep them in storage until a day before this sort of event.

You can bypass that part for 18 gems... its pretty much half off sheep after you finish quest since normal sheep is 35 gems. Just make sure you can finish quest in time before spending them gems.

I have to agree with everyone... SO rediculous that the cap on the fall leaves and holiday is not higher... I fear I will not have time to collect enough for the sheep after use them on the pergola... I have wasted so much felt by not being able to collect it! Also... You can only request once per day for each neighbor from all your neighbors.

You can only get 20 player requested items a day even if more agree to send them over only first 20 count.

Save Stormie's castle for last... its not a real player and it will give you 1 more over the 20 limit per day so max you can get 21 per day on requests.

Save Stormie's castle for last... its not a real player and it will give you 1 more over the 20 limit per day so max you can get 21 per day on requests.

Got the turkey sheep, finally. Still can't connect to games via home BT router, but live near public BT wifi hotspot and it's allowing me to connect to games through that. Just need another 7 felt to finish the pergola.

Just wanna say, the max limit for Fall Leaves and Holiday Felt should definitely be raised. Right now you can only have 40 Fall Leaves max, and 30 Holiday Felt max, while there are two quests that require them, one that needs 40 Fall Leaves and 30 Holiday Felt, one that needs 30 Fall Leaves and 20 Holiday Felt. So the limit should be at least 70 Fall Leaves and 50 Holiday Felt. Because right now I'm waiting 8 hours for 2 Ancient Flower Pots to be made, then I have to wait 8 more hours for the last two, so I can do the final upgrade on my Pergola, and I already have 40 Fall Leaves and 30 Holiday Felt ready. Meanwhile, I need to make the turkey costume for my sheep, and I should be able to collect more Fall Leaves and Holiday Felt while I wait for the Flower Pots to finish, so I can make my turkey costume. I don't want to go ahead and make the turkey costume, because I want to make sure I fully upgrade the pergola before the deadline, because I feel that's more important to have than the turkey-sheep.

like Ckymer1 i don't have a sheep (Plenty of cows from quest), but i went different, I went ultra cheapscape and didn't buy the sheep, instead paid 18 gems for the quest completion and hoping to get the turkey sheep from the quest line. As we got a animal from all the other "Turkey" animal quest so far.

well, from what i read in this forum, it was cheaper and quicker to finish the quest directly, than it was to buy a new sheep. unless you wanted two sheep, but still faster for my situtation, where i never bought sheep in first place.

Nothing said it had to be an adult sheep, just "Inspect the Sheep" now he doesn't have enough to skip the quest. Not cool.

Read the description of the sheep you/he bought. The description says "will grow Into a sheep". Of course it had to be a fully grown sheep to count. you/he should have thought ahead last week. It is not as if you did not know a sheep quest was coming up, after the 3 others.

You won't lose any of the valentines stuff you already have if you upgrade to the normal version, which you should have done a long time ago because the valentines version is not supported anymore. You will still be able to buy/craft everything in your love shack and go on the valentines adventure if you so wish.

I'm re-stocking: Felt, Leaves, Wheat, Iron, Wool, Water and Petals (40 of each petal)

For Winter stuff, I'm guessing that in addition to Felt, Wool and Red Petals, we might need:
Sugar, Flour and Chocolate --> Maybe we'll need to bake Xmas cookies or something
Coal --> maybe we'll be giving the Baron sacks of Coal if he tries to steal from our kingdom
Corn --> maybe we'll be creating popcorn strings for decortions
Fairy Jars --> Maybe we'll be using trapped fairies to create light in foggy places or to send messages to the north pole
Blue and yellow petals --> blue + yellow = green. Maybe we'll be making a new Green dye
Cow hide --> to make leather belts, boots and gloves...., or reindeer reins
Eggs and milk --> eggnog!

There are more things that I think could be done, but for now, I'm concentrating on the above.

People have been asking for an increased maximum of felt and leaves. I agree it would make sense but with the leaves it is possible to get what you need very quickly. If you plant 5 acer trees (yellow or red) they take only 3 or 4 waters to mature. In the hour or so that takes make as many wooden beams or fancy beams as you can. Provided you need wood chopping down the trees will give you 5 or 6 fallen leaves. I completed the pergola, and then collected the leaves I needed with 5 trees and completed the sheep within a further 7 hours - that includes crafting the costume, which takes 4 hours. Felt is more difficult, but I stored my library and replaced it with a second market place, which uses up more wood to build, and got enough felt very quickly. Hope that helps.

I don't have a manticore yet! See TL this is what we are talking about when some players have an advantage for completing timed quests and others don't. Normally I wouldn't mind just slaying critters to get the fur but right now they seem especially hard to trigger and seem to be refusing to drop furs! Past 24 hours I slayed 9 and only got 2 furs. I took the opportunity to craft a few extra bunches of flowers while doing the Pergola, those came up twice recently, and then the ability to craft them disappeared, so I thought I'd stock up on a few just in case something spring related comes up.

Christmas seems like it might involve some sweets, I'm throwing a few extra pies in the oven, and I'm stocked up on flour, sugar, and chocolate.

One thing that occurred to me is that there is no green dye, so no green banners. Green banners in a wintery kingdom might be nice, and red and green are traditional holiday colors. I'm building up some extra dyes just in case, guessing that maybe yellow & blue dyes may be required to make a green one?


It's always good to stock up on whatever you can in this game, and it's kind of fun trying to think ahead. ;)

Pay attention when you get to the check the tower part. All of the other ones had a 'go' button next to them but that one didn't. I realized it right as I hit the button and wasted my gems.

Do you definitely need wood? I found that when I was maxed out on wood the leaf drop went down to just 1 or 2 a tree. As soon as I got some beams crafting, so needed the wood, the drop went up to 5 or 6 a tree. Might just be luck, but one or two of my neighbours have found the same.

True, you can't craft green banners but if you go to the marketplace and look under 'decorations' you can buy one! At least, you could when I bought the one that proudly decorates my kingdom!!

I have a problem with the pergola goal. I got the blue print from the adventure but the game didn't checked it as done. So now when I try to gather the materials from the next goal, but the flowerpots aren't in the potion shop for me to craft. Do I make sense?

I did the roaming bandit adventure and got the blueprint, but still unchecked in the goal list
Gathered all the other material, blocks , fur ...
Upgraded the pergola

As anyone can predict, the Pergola drops are mostly food, which include from experiences:

YES! Eggs, bacon and stuff...handy, but I don't craft those at the kitchen! I thought Pergola was an addition to a kitchen, sugar, noodles, Fancy Feast. Oh, Sweet Feast though, I'm having nightmares of making those. I make so many trying to get that "Burning Ember" and no luck! Please have mercy on my Castle Story Loving Soul! :)
