Restaurant Story on kindle fire hdx not available?

I just upgraded from the kindle fire hd to the new hdx and was able to transfer all of the "story" games over, no problem, except restaurant story is not available. I can only get the Halloween and thanksgiving versions to load and they are very glitchy and hard to navigate. Is anyone else having this problem? Are there any plans to make RS available on the hdx? I'm so frustrated, I am ready to send my tablet back.
