Ok let me Tell you an example. Somebody posts that he defeated fire dragon with his air. Air is one of the worst choice against fire. Still he could win, because there is still chance.
But if someone follows this, he probably should loose, thats it

It is absolutely ok if you give advice if someone needs. Replying posts such as "I am stucked on xxxx" is ok and I also do it. But posting all wins makes this thread like 100+ pages in a few days what nobody reads thru.
I am not "trolling" the thread just thought to be more useful.

Then that is where your OWN brain must one into play. Don't blame someone else or their decisions for your loss. Blame yourself if you fail to THINK for yourself. With odds, you stand a fair chance at losing with the "best" dragon anyway. I keep a list of all (well, nearly all) past battles, wins and losses. This, combined with the most updated list of color strengths/ weaknesses and the battle calculator all factor into the decision I make for MY particular battle. You need to do the same. That is the FUN of the tournament. That - and cheering on friends here on the forum. I am sorry if you are missing the enjoyment we find here.

It is true that M or B makes no difference, but at least when people include those, you can see how many attacks it took to defeat the opponent. =) It isn't as useful now as it will be in the later rounds of the tournament, but it still helps people get through more quickly.[], but I also watch the posts of people who are a few rounds ahead of me when I'm making my lists of dragons to try in future rounds. =)

It all seems very random ofc, any dragon has a chance to beat any other dragon, but still there are odds.

But, it is a nice thread anyway, showing players willing to help and share what they think is good information!

they may provide alternative battle solutions (if unlikely!) which may pull some people out of tangles in later rounds!! :D you can always make a pre-plan of battle warriors to use in each round, according to the dragons you own and their colors :) good luck!

Suggestions are only a guide. It is fun reading. But we know there is a random element and programming problem too.
Not all our accounts are the same.
Each of us also refer to the color guide first. But even color guide is not always right. Sometimes nothing works for days!

I usually start the tournament speeding through the battles - using 2-4 golds depending on how fast. When I lose, I stop and wait the hour. I usually get to level 10-13 this way. As I get further into the tournament, the battles are harder and I do not speed much. Any time I lose, though, I wait at least the hour, take a deep breath and plan my next battle. This also allows me to keep up with healing - so i rarely have very many down at anyone time. I have found that in the long run, I use FAR less gold doing fast in the beginning than having all the stress and anxiety of the deadline looming when I'm doing tough battles. I have time to beat on an opponent for a whole day if I need to. I keep my blood pressure under control and do not feel the need to use an expensive ultimate bash. It works for me......

Remember - it is a "guide" - of more or less value depending on what you chose to believe.

That said, you are STILL dealing in percentages. Each time you try a dragon with (supposedly) a 90% chance of winning, you are also trying a dragon that as a 10% chance of losing!

The guide also does not seem to factoring rarity as much as it perhaps should. I take history over the guide any day....

That's what I've done and just got through 17 but they are getting harder and I have NO diamond! My mythic and atlas are sitting on nest waiting for a home! But I got through the last tournament at level 33 so I figure I'll get through this one at level 65. Just wish I could get a diamond!! The free weekend on boost really helped me get lots of needed dragons but I need free land to put more habitats on! It's soooo expensive and the maps are hard to come by. I need more neighbors who play and answer request! Good luck everyone and don't give up!!!

In the past, aether has beaten lazerlight 9 times for me. I would hazard a guess that if you healed it and try it again, you would have entirely different results. If you had put it in to heal when it was defeated, it will come out fresh and ready to battle by the time your arena is ready next time.

There aren't 20 DIFFERENT diamond hybrids to get. With 2 hour healing, it is not necessary to have duplicates. Healing requires a bit of planning and time, but it works......

Now I gotta figure out what my back up dragon will be against quartz. Onyx lost. Night elf has been successful 3 times before.... Hmmmmm......

i know figmentvalley i used it to beat laserlight i try different color of dragons since aether and storm didnt work for me even if saying you got 90% chance of winning agaisnt laserlight..

I also used it some of the battles which i won with Leviathon dragon. Like for example with Royal, Sabratooth, Water and Jetser dragons!! u

I got him with Crusader. Red + Diamond. If I had not used that, I would try any strong black you have. Black is doubly strong against quartz. Valkyrie, then ninja would be my next go-tos.

Youre lucky. Sometimes it does not work ! Like a Fire 10 can lose to a Fire 1.

When I first started with battle arena I read the thread on it and the suggestion was made to use the same dragon if you had one higher than the opponent. So far that advice has served me pretty we'll. I think in the last tourney and this one I've only lost one time using that strategy.
