Didn't your game glitch too. I was losing the battle and then my health refined and his went away and I won. It was one of those glitches. Very suspicious.
Funny even when I breed I get a Life Dragon Five or 6 times in a row.
Metal/life =life.
Social/life=life

Perhaps I should use a Life Dragon against Troll. Hmm ....

Today I had Lost 3 battles with Valkyrie lv16 , Ninja BMM, Valkyrie BMB & Ninja BBM,than suddenly my iPad screen was blank can't switch off or do any think with it,. After battery life ends,screen become black,than I try to charge & successfully switch on iPad & start battle with Valkyrie Lv & unexpectedly won with Water Lv 1. BBB,.

Now facing Angel Lv 16., I'm gonna try DA ,than Aether or Ninja / Valkyrie,.please advice of better combo.,thank you.

Tried DA again? Mistmoth worked too.
Or just plain water.

I'm still with the Beast from the East.

I deleted Original version after beating Valkyrie 5 times. Went back to Halloween version, finished tournament. Not switching back to Original version until Paladin hatches. Don't care about the summoning too much since it is only on the Original version-for me anyway. I'll see what happens tomorrow-it's 10:48pm on Friday for me.

This tournament is just too hard, TL. Why is there so many champion dragons and high level diamond hybrids? Please TL if you are reading this post, make it easier or pls discount the ultimate to 15 gold. I am just being worn out fighting the same dragon over n over again.

I don't see how you all claim to beat the last 8 of 10 dragons without using ultimate. Good job if you did. I always have to use gold to beat the last lvl 14-20 dragons. Doesn't matter though because I am throwing a party..... Just got the last dragon for my warrior series; had Valkyrie and Ninja, and now just earned the Paladin! I don't mind spending gold on these new well designed dragons. Congrats to me and good job TL on another awesome dragon!

Me to Aurry! Glad your happy though. I don't know if I'm going to make it. My dragons became wimps at level 14. Since then have been fighting each dragon pretty much 5-10 or more times each- except fire 3 of them.

Massively stuggling with Prism. I've tried Diamond, Atlantis, Passion and Mermaid. None worked even multiple tries. In fact, I think their effectiveness is dropping with each fail :( Luckily I breezed through the rest, and only Ninja gave me trouble so I have time to experiment.

This is the last big hurdle. After that I've got my Goblin ready to bash Naga and then a Nano evolving to lvl10 to take on Paladin. Soooo close....

Keep your hopes up, I lost to Angel 12 times then win with uncle Valkyrie. Or do what I did last tourney, had hard time since Infinity and most of my better dragons were either waiting to be heal or getting in line to fight. So I throw the tri-colored "teenagers" to breed and got my very first Diamond!!! Then ultimate the rest of the rounds with the gold I saved for Diamond. Just keep trying and something good will happen in a moment :)

I am sick of this. I forced closed my game. I just fought the battle a THIRD time. I won AGAIN. I took a screen shot of the victory, then the award screen. I pushed "collect", the game glitched, reset and the tournament is still going, I have another hour on the timer, no egg, no win and no patience left or this.
So sorry to hear that. It really spoils the joy of winning when you have to prove to TL with your screenshots that you won the prize, then wait a week after everyone else to get your egg. Had it happen to me in the Phoenix tourney. Really good thing you took those screenshots. I always do that too.

Decided yesterday to skip tournament, i shouldn't been in it in first place because it's for players that can save day with gold, or players that has played long and received a few strong dragons to use. Ofc anyone can join and win, but only with crazy luck they have a winning chance if not rich or ver well geared. Anyway, it's all good, this is just sidekick game for me, and i do understand that profit comes before catering every players pleasure, otherwise there'd be no point in developing a game at all.

But, to the point.....jee did i rant all that in first section....oh well, anyway, still in game, and i've continued sending the Diamond into arena every 2 hour just for fun (lol no not fun, but....experimenting!) and.....28 hours from first attempt it's still losing! I'm sure someone else is worse off, but i find this so unrewarding that it almost impresses me LOL! Hehe, my gaming buddies ask me why i even play DS, i'm a nutcase to them, but....in its unfairness, randomness, illogical ways it's still....hmm it has something...:p

Aargh now I can't beat Quertzal. Used rose and Valkeryie. Not got Scorpian. I am seriously considering using ultimate again!!! I am getting really frustrated with these tournaments. They seem to be getting harder and harder for some of us particularly when we don't have diamonds. I have 6 dragons to beat in 6 days which I think is impossible considering in past tournaments each of the last few dragons can take 10 - 12 attempts.

The problem with using an ultimate is that once you start, you need to continue. I have just used An ultimate against Quertzal because I am really struggling with the diamonds. Hopefully troll and leopard will not be so hard and I will only need to use 1 more ultimate for prism.

I understand it,TL make this tournament very tough for non Diamond's owner players..need to defeats Ninja, Infinity, Valkyrie, Angel, Quetzal, Prism & Paladin to win Tournament....7 dragons all are the Champions,how someone can defeats without using Diamond/Hybrids...may be extra Luck can defeated these dragons without Diamond,.still very difficult and need a lot of Patience & time.

Sorry to hear this, I am sure they will sort it out for you though. I have just got my wraith dragon from the summoning a few weeks ago. It took time but they sorted it in the end.

I've had more resets in this tournament than ever before. But for me, it wouldn't just reset to the last battle I won; it would take be back two or three rounds so I'd have to fight a whole sequence of challengers all over again. I should have finished this thing since Thursday. I had hardly any game time yesterday but managed to beat down Naga before a busy evening forced me to set the games aside. Several struggles against Paladin, but I finally got it this morning, and it had better still be in storage when I'm ready to nest it.

Surprisingly this battling has been easier in my level 54 account with no Diamonds, champions or epics. Both accounts now are battling Palladin.

Oh great. I sit by my router to battle. Write on my own wall just before and after each battle, yet the dreaded failure to save still occurs. After all that effort to beat Troll (7 rounds) he just came back. Nooo! Fat Liberace the Love dragon beat him easily again, but as I went to write on my wall and save my progress the dratted Processing FruitFool appeared of his own accord. Thanks. Got loads of dragons to try. Might speed up a couple of rounds rather than using an ultimate. Really conscious of the time and know how hard it is to beat Prism. But happy to battle leopard up to another 10 times which will take me to bedtime.

UPDATE: 35 hours after first attempt my trusty lil Diamond lost yet another fight against Valkyrie. In between a few other dragons has met defeat ofc, closest to take the ugly down was lvl1 Winter baby! Oh well, thankfully we've slipped in a couple nice GW2 dungeon runs today, free to play also but a tad more rewarding!

Hi Kami, good luck to your too. You should try Crusader for Quetzal. Fire works well against Green, and this tourney I smashed through Quetzal with my Crusader pretty easily.

Wow...First time Ive had trouble with tourney since the very first one. Blew through first first 19 with ease. Ninja took 5 battles vs Nina x2 And Valk x3 finally won with Valk. Just lost ruby to naga. I won with it last time. Will now rotate Goblin, Lotus and Valkeryie. Has real trouble with naga last time hope its not so bad this time. 1 more attempt tonight before bed in about an hour if I can stay awake that long.

I have found this the hardest tournament so far and have had to use ultimate on Infinity Quertzal and Angel. However last 3 rounds have been much better. On Naga now which took about 12 attempts last time.

I managed to blow my way out of the fatal loop, but I have not been able to win again, yet. I have to work tomorrow - I will have limited play time. I hesitate to use an ultimate bash, lose the gold and not get the egg. I don't want to run out of time. Deleting and reloading the game did not solve it. I think my best bet is to keep battling as much as I am able and hope for another win - that STICKS. Apparently, this tournament needs at least 6 wins.... Possibly more. I just want ONE that counts.....

This is EXACTLY why I speed at the beginning. I do NOT want to be facing a deadline when I have a heavy work schedule. All my planning, gold spending and work has failed to prevent that, however. I am disappointed in this game.

You win 5 x gold on rounds 15, 20 and 25. The rest of the rounds give you a mace.

Since my experiment using the lvl9 Diamond over and over again against Valkyrie ended with a thrown in lvl1 Water dragon beating it while Diamond was resting i continued the tournament - not expecting to get much further ofc.

Next was Angel to beat and out of pure curiosity i fed it a lvl1 Poison dragon that didn't stand a chance, as expected. I didn't expect my lvl3 Crusader to be victorious in the next attempt, but it actually was, it wiped poor Angel out in 2 hits.

Interesting i thought, and sent in the lil Diamond for next round, against Quetzal. Which it won! Barely, but still.

Now the experiment was becoming quite fun, and i was looking forward (yes i actually was) to next round!

So, Troll time i thought...but no, it was Quetzal again, and this time the Diamond got its butt handed to it good, and i remembered how i really feel about Team Lavas tournaments.....a big joke, not so funny though!

Ok so i don't think you can actually go all the way and win if having 2 nice dragons only, you shouldn't even be in the tournament then unless you want to pay up extra, but i'm still disappointed! I've reported issue ofc, not expecting them to in any way comfort all of us that has problems like this - and i'm sure they'll have a full mailbox on monday lol - but it is important pointing out to them that their product doesn't work as intended.

This tournament has been so much harder than usual. I usually dont get stuck till rounds 25 or later but this time I started getting stuck around round 18, it's been awful. The winning dragons seem totally random too. My diamond/infinity has only gotten maybe 3 ****s? every battle I just had to try random dragons until one of them gets a crit, it's like they threw the battle formulas out the window and just made it rely 100% of random crits.... awful changes going on at TL lately =/

Going to give the other's a few chances to beat them and them I guess use my gold and Ult. Them... I'm running out of time now. Quetzal up next. What do you suggest???? Going to have to speed up with gold too. Sooo sad. Have 500 gold for my diamond that I'm going to have to use. :( or maybe I'll just skip this one.. Really like it though. If I Ult quetzal, maybe I can get through troll and Leopard easily and then Ult. Prism and get through Naga and paladin.

So, funny story, I've been battling Prism for more than a day, working through many many rounds of Diamond, Atlantis, Mermaid, and even through Ninja and Passion at him. In fact their attacks were getting less and less effective with each loss. Rescinded myself to Ultimate him today and get it over with. I had this baby Water dragon left over from the Summoning process so I thought why not just chuck him at Prism... and he wins!!!! Hail to the baby army!!! There's fight in them left. I thought TL had neutered this trick and haven't resorted to using it since they introduced the 2 hour healing.
