Normally up to lvl 20 use the Highest Level of Dragon you have to fight.
Later stages they say level does not matter.
Still use a Higher level to be safe.

Something like that just happened to me when i didn't know the Wi-Fi at work was down, i guess i could still play on the iPad (and lose the battle...) despite not being connected to internet. When our internet was back up i had to play same battle again, ofc i lost once more...

A bit stuck at round 8, and since matches get tougher and tougher i'm wondering if the tournament really is long enough - i'm working 6.30-16.00, i try to sleep at night, and i have no gold to speed rounds up with (why ever that should be necessary hmm). Still a few days left ofc, but i already wonder again if i really should bother battling at all....oh well, it's just a game anyway!

Ninja beat my passion, diamond and now steel. Diamond is nearly healed I will try again. This ninja is MEAN. Mine- not so.

Origami can sometimes be difficult. I have had a fair amount of luck using emerald, ruby, onyx against it. Jade would be e en better. If you have a gold (treasure or the ilk) that would be great! Gold dragons are doubly strong against origami.

Ninja beat my passion, diamond and now steel. Diamond is nearly healed I will try again. This ninja is MEAN. Mine- not so.

Origami can sometimes be difficult. I have had a fair amount of luck using emerald, ruby, onyx against it. Jade would be e en better. If you have a gold (treasure or the ilk) that would be great! Gold dragons are doubly strong against origami.

I don't have gold, onyx, or Jade. I have beaten it in the past with Flower. Maybe I'll try that too. Hunter will be healed next time and then I'll throw Ninja into the Healing spa. My Emerald is a level 9. So I can try that too.

Has anyone looked at the list of dragons for the later rounds? TL has made it MUCH harder to win this time. We face 3 Champions and more Diamond Hybrids than usual. There are 7 battles that I only have 10% chance with anything but a Diamond.

Well, I choose to be optimistic! 10% means one chance in 10 of winning! Odds then say that of 7, you should have approximately 3 of those which should take less than 10 battles.... Etc. etc. etc. :D

Think positively. Hit hard and take no prisoners!

Now - off to battle Nina again. I'm takin' OFF the gloves. Time for a little bare fisted brawlin'!

Anything black is outlying strong against Tiger'sEye. Cosmic is also doubly strong against Tiger'sEye. Rainbow, anything white or Dino could be good choices - make them as rare as possible, discontinued if possible and epic if possible.

I have had best luck with moon (won 3, lostv1), lotus (won2, lost 2) and Valkyrie (won 1).

Black & white hybrid will score 3 bonus color points. Moon or Yin Yang.
Champion will also score 3 bonus color points (because Tiger has 3 elements). Ninja or Valkyrie. Black Knight if you crafted that prize already.

Just because diamond lost twice to ninja for me doesn't mean that you should not use diamond, too! It is one of the best choices against ninja. Ninja "eats" colors. Diamond, steel and, it seems "non-colors" (like half and half passion) do the best at it. Your best bet, in my opinion and experience, is to pick your diamond and two other of your best bets (passion and steel being good selections), then round robin tag team them on ninja. Heal and smash again. You WILL win - and I'm betting you will win the 5th battle or less. Good luck. Take heart. You have the tools, you can do this!

Passion is not red or purple, it is half red, half purple. The left heart and right heart dragons had the red and purple colors. Since ninja "eats" colors, I think it would be best to avoid those. I would also avoid any three color dragons - you just give ninja more colors to latch on to. I think passion, because it is a strange 1/2&1/2 color, it doesn't behave as other odors with ninja. Steel is also not a "color" per se'.

Hey guys, I'm late to the party, but I'm not going for Paladin. My goal is just to get through level 25 for the gold. I'm extra busy this week so I've missed numerous opportunities to battle, plus I got beat 3 times in the first 7 levels (Level 1 Coral beat my epic Valkyrie AND my epic Emerald! CRAZY!), so I'd be way behind anyhow. I see that we have to face Ninja and Valkyrie in addition to the diamonds, so there is NO way I could do all that without gold or diamonds even if I weren't way behind. I'm not so sure I can get through 2 Champions and 3 diamonds just to get through level 25!!! I'm not too motivated to win the tourney either, considering that when I get the Black Knight, my Champion Ruins will be full anyway.

I thought I would try independence this time - it supposedly has a better percentage to win. I thought "hey, it's retired, too. Why not!" Independence lost.

I did dream. I won again in one magic blow.

Percentages are percentages, but there may be a bit of skew spin factored in that we cannot fathom. I think I shall lean far more heavily on past experience than any "calculator" in the future.

LOL! A conspiracy theorist! LOL! I'm sure they don't have time, mid-tournament, to be tweaking minutia. (But between battles? ..... LOL.) Think about it. They have hundreds of thousands of battles - quite literally a large enough sample to see the percentages fall where planned. Tweaking would happen only after analysis.

The results/difficulties with specific opponents are exactly why we DO see the same opponents each tournament, and why we also see new ones. :) Och - at least it keeps us from boredom! :)
