Star Rating - PLEASE EXPLAIN

My star rating is normally 4, but every morning when I open my game it goes to 3. I tip my neighbors EVERYDAY, so why is this happening ? After tipping 3 or 4 neighbors it goes back to 4. Please explain.

Over time star ratings go down. If you tip more it will stay a little longer but eventually it will always go down. It's to motivate you to keep tipping everyday.

The star rating is adjusted at reset time (midnight Pacific time)
