Ask for help (maps, lotos blossoms) limitation ??

At the moment I have about 140 neighbours and I click them all asking for help (sending maps) for expanding new fields.
I was disappointed because I only get 10-12 maps a day from 140 requests.
So I checked this the past days with my girlfriend - she's playing DS on Android.
In many cases she does not even has my request for maps.

Is there some kind of limitation that you can only get 12 maps per day or so ?

When asking for lotus blossoms it is the same.
I personally answer every request I get.. so this makes me sad in the end.

Only 20 neighbors per day can answer requests. If you are sending requests to more people then that, it will clog up your requesting system, and take multiple days for you to recieve your items. Try skipping sending requests for a few days, then only send requests to 20-25 people per day total.
