TL finally gave us a red flower we can buy! Thank you for listening to our complaints and putting the red trillium in the market for 35 gems. Kind of a big spend for a flower, but it's worth it to me so I'm getting it.

I'm guessing it will be permanent. If it wasn't, TL would have to deal with the same complaints from future players.

You can collect every 10 minutes so I'm glad it's now available for those who started after Valentines.

This gem one only collects every 20 minutes but I will still soon build up a lovely pile of red petals. Just had my first one and it was so nice to know I was going to get a red petal as opposed to useless white/blue/orange ones from tall grasses.

I'm really glad we can collect from it every 20 mins, because when I bought the flower I was actually expecting a really long collection time of an hour or more.

Twenty minutes is fine (well for me, as I do go on several times a day). Just now I got 2 petals in one go. I love this new bush already. 4 petals down, only another 81 to go (for the goals that I know of).

Well, that's not too bad. But you may need those blue ones later sometime for blue dye. Who knows?.?

Yes, but for some reason I often am maxed out on other petals. Probably from chopping logs and grasses to find red petals. Oh no, might have to get those flowers out of storage at some point ;)

I was saving for a wizard school but I have just bought about 100 tall grasses to get 40 red petals. I also need red petals to upgrade my conservatory so think I will have to get it.

I wonder if you will also get the valentine version of skunkupine and entwined seedlings with the bought flower. I pulled out a bunch of valentines items and trying to use up maxed jewels, wood, stone, glimmerdust, and other items to craft vday items hoping to stock up for February update in advance! Been getting lots of pink pelts and seedlings....may craft some more vday trees after Christmas.

Oh my, this flower is brilliant. I have a nice stack of red petals now in less than 24 hours. I should be able to upgrade my conservatory later today! It almost feels too good to be true.

That's fine if you are playing the v version. Read all of the quotes in other threads about red petals/stressful resources and the thank you's for providing the resourse in this thread. Anyone who joined after the v day version was at a severe disadvantage in regards to red petals. Especially considering the last few quests required so many - red dye, upgrading conservatory etc.

Having said that, I am grateful to TL for finally listening and providing a regular resource for all. 35 gems well spent in my opinion. Cheers.
