I have 100 pink hearts & do not know what they are for.

it's how fast the stuff sells. if you break too many hearts and it goes below 100 it'll sell slower.

The pink hearts mean happy customers. Happy Customers increase your boutique popularity. Boutiques with higher popularity attract more customer. You have 100 pink hearts, that is the maximum number of customers.
