Sorry you are having trouble. I am pretty sure I got it because my den has been broken for the last several days. My Black and Pink dragons have been impotent until this little ray of light. They must have felt sorry for me after all the stinking Pegasus fails just trying for a "simple" little Flower.

Yay..... After 600+ gold I got a vamp as a fail Lolz :( I don't like the vamp, oh well, at least I didn't have him and it was a nice change from the moon dragon I keep getting (10th moon so far) fingers crossed that I'll get him tomorrow :)

You lucky thing!!

I've only just bred it (despite being a speed breeder) and only cos I got a gold sale yesterday! Could've bought it for cheaper, but there's no sense of accomplishment when you buy! It took me a lot more than 5 goes, tho! More like a gazillion (that's what it felt like)

This one may be harder than Dark angel, because of the two splitting elements. Like mask dragon.

Sometimes ppl are aiming for diamond or diamond hybrids and the fails are also dragons they dont have. This is a good strategy too when the dragons you dont have are not limited.

If possible, I usually add diamond to colors. Still need some diamond hybrid (such as Angel), and I got most of my diamond hybrids with such additions.

Adding diamond as a color wont give you too much plus fails, you have only a tiny chance you "fail" on any hybrid, but it is never a "fail", I was never trading any diam combos of mine. (actually, i have multiples only from crusader)

Pairing Metal/Spirit you only get one extra fail for a Diamond Yay! As long as we not adding Yellow, Red, Green & Pink to it, there's no difference in failure between just putting Metal/Black in the den.

I Got it using Metal & Spider,, & Goblin too, which I needed also, Im.at lvl.105, & still dont have mistmoth, I was hoping to get that as a fail, but ofcourse wouldnt be for me ツ

I can't tell if I'm having super bad luck or if I'm glitched getting this dragon. Not counting all the regular breeding tries before this weekend, with the free boosted breed I have failed to get the darksteel (using night + metal) OVER 60+ times!!!! I have now spent SIGNIFICANTLY more gems trying to breed this than it would have costed to just buy it from the market! I don't know if I should keep trying or go for the other 2 dragons left that I am missing (the other 2 metal hybrids... Have all the rest :-/ ) and just save up to buy this one instead. I am so frustrated!!

It's been since early November non-stop breeding of a lvl10 Metal Dragon and a lvl10 Night Dragon in trying to get a Darksteel with sometimes help from Booster Breed.
No Luck what so ever!

I think I'm officially designated as a troublemaker on this issue now, but you're not doing anything wrong. That combo should work, I was able to breed mine sometime back in October with that.

I do not remember the exact combo, but I have never been able to breed a metal, I used steampunk and night I believe. I got it after about 3 tries. Keep at it it will come eventually, I quite using boosted breed because I never saw any difference after the "free weekend" I did have several good dragons those days.

You can get Darksteel from this combination. Remember, Darksteel is Super Rare, so he may take some determination and persistence to be a result.
