Resources from Camp Surroundings?

Several players in Global Chat today reported that they were getting resources by tapping the cave, boat and surrounding trees beyond the outer borders of camp. Possibly the statues in the waterfall also.
(We are NOT talking about clearing trees and rocks.)
Is this some kind of bug? A joke? Or is it a feature made available to only some players?

Was there dead troops around? If so, resources appear to be given when the corpse of someone who visits your base are left laying there. It is similar to what happens in COC

I think you were one of the agents of this gag: "get your blue people to go into the cave for gems; tap on the trees outside the border for 5000 coins per tree; tap on the boat for spellstones." Yeah. LMAO. You jokers had people properly fooled for a while.
