What's the biggest gem sale you have ever seen?

I have some spare money to buy gems, but not in a rush, so I'm trying to wait for a good sale. I have so far seen up to 30% sale, but don't know if it can get any better? Could any long time player share some experience please? I want to catch the best moment to spend my money! Thx!

The last two years, there gems were 40% off on Black Friday.

I see at most 30% during the rest of the year.

Yup,Black Friday is the only day for 40% off,saving my iTunes cards till then,then it's time to swim in gems like Scrooge McDuck!:)

Bummer to me that it only goes up to 40%... I was hoping for a half-price sale =D
On the plus side though, black friday is coming soon! Yay \^o^/

They also do 40% sales around Christmas/New years time as well. I went a little crazy last Christmas lol :p

Last year (don't remember exactly when, just know it was summer, as I started playing in May) they had a gem sale where when you bought any gem package you got 50% more free! So, for example, let's say you were going to buy 50 gems for $9.99, on the sale you got 75 gems for $9.99 (25 free). Or if you were going for the 275 gems for $49.99, on the sale you got 412 gems for $49.99 (137 free). And so on and so forth, depending on the level of gems you chose... only saw it that ONE time, and haven't seen it since. But that's precisely when I spent money on gems... the one and only time to date!
