do we really need to spend money to buy the fruit trees to complete this? I know they can be a random drop from adventures but after many many months playing I've never got one. i'm sure they said that they'd never make us have to pay for stuff to do story quests. this seems very unfair

Sir Piggy regularly drops fruit that you can use to make the stuff for the High Maintanence goal. He's probably the best source of fruit if you do not want to buy the trees.
