Someone mentioned in the thread concerning promoting items for sale that Stormie will eventually buy anything for sale in your shop. Is this true? If so, what is the time frame for this to happen?

Yes that is true of your longest item in your shop. I'm not sure of the timing but I think it may be 24 hours.
