26 losses now against Prism!!! :mad: The worst I have ever had before was 24 losses to Crusader. This is insane. I've been alternating between high level dragons and babies since the healing spring is still only 2 hours. I should have known Prism would be insanely bad after I beat the other 3 diamonds easily. Good grief, I thought I would be finished with the whole tournament by now! :(

Naga just defeated nightmare. So Happy. This is only the 2nd tournament I have won and I did it quicker this time thanks to Valkeryie. Thank you everybody so much for your help and encouragement. It makes the tournaments so much nicer.

Yes i beat nghtmare with my epic valkryie! TQ for all the support. Good luck to those that are still in the tournament. I used epic ninja and valkryie for almost all my battles except against diamond hybrids which i used my own diamond platoon.The color chart and wiki battle calculator are useful for those that dont have champion type dragons.

Tried Atlantis again, failed again. I did the math, and only 4% of players will not win (with a 10% chance in each round) by the end of thirty rounds. Wow, lucky me in the 4%. :( I should have kept my mouth shut when I joked that I expected to have to go 35 rounds against Prism to make up for beating the other three diamonds in a combined 9 rounds!

I have tried this several times and it didn't work. I tried using the regular DS app instead of DS Halloween. Nothing makes a difference. I won't let this go until tomorrow night, you can be sure. But right now I'm kind of approaching this like a scientist--how many rounds will it take me to finally win!?! It's gotta happen sometime, right?!?

I'm not liking the new changes to the battle system. I can understand that they're trying to reduce the effectiveness of the baby army, but I had my Crusader take on Quetzal (perfect opponent match) at least 3 or four times (including many other defeats in between), before he finally won. Then got stuck on Leopard and had to resort to Ultimate for the first time in 4 tournaments! Stuck on Naga now who I've been many times before.

Btw, anyone figure out the algo behind Champion dragons? My Ninja was ****er until a few matches ago. Seems like he needs to recharge if you over use him. Or maybe he's linked to the number of recent wins (or losses) you've had, or something arcane like that :p

It was so hard to fight the first opponent:
Dont laugh - the Fire Dragon Lvl 1, this little one ****ed 5(!) of my rare and super rare dragons ;-)

But now, here is my oroblem:

An hour ago at stage 22 i've defeated the Infinity Dragon Lvl. 14 with a simple Lvl 1 Forest dragon.
2nd hit was a critical hit! Victory YAYYY!!

Now came the time for the next Battle Arena, but whats that: AGAIN (!) Infinity Dragon Lvl. 14 and stage 22 ?? WTF ?? !
I was so happy to have it defeated, why do I have to repeat this?

I know, I have no chance to win the tournament anymore.
But I wonder how can it be that I have to face an already defeated opponent again??

The game didn't save yr process. Earlier on one player(figment valley) suggested to post yr oppent before battle & winning fighter after battle on yr own wall... It helps to save yr process. I did that... I don't have the roll back prob. I had it in previous tourney .. Fight DA 3x. Really p*** off.

Sync error or processing glitch. I've had it happen several times. In the Phoenix tournament I had to face Crusader a second time, which prevented me from winning the tournament.

Someone told me during the last tournament, in which I had to face Dark Angel a second time, to go visit a neighbor after you win and that will help save your progress.

It'd be great with a tournament for other than those who already have loads of gold and high end dragons to play. Myself, not any wiser from last tournament, still started this one *whaps self* and i've wasted so much time and coins this weekend, with noone to blame but myself ofc! Atm stuck at the Quetzal one, a lvl3 Diamond dragon is best i got, and since i have a bad habit of misclicking and wasting gold on finishing stuff that didn't need finishing lol (it's a frikkin app-game, cannot expect confirmation popup boxes ofc) i have no gold to save the day with either...

Ah well, not taking this too seriously, and not spending a real life dime on it either, so cannot expect much, but still- an amateur tournament where us noobs could win smthn too, maybe less super fancy stuff ofc, would be nice imo!

Yes, it is really fun to do this battles. Just remember when you win, you must stay to let team lava save your winnings. I go to my neighbours to get the game save. I have lost my winning not doing this!

Pretty sure I'm not going to make it. 22 rounds against Quetzal Dragon sort of did me in. I've finally gotten to Prism (where I hear most people had the most difficultly). Lacking any diamond/diamond variants and I just don't see how I can possibly win with the time remaining. 2 dragons that I have at best a 10% per against.

Sigh, yet another failed tournament.
The one upside is that it no longer takes me a week and a half to recover from the tournament (thank you 2 hrs instead of 6 hrs healing spring)

Don't give up. Try Atlantis and if it fails heal it and try again.

Yeah Atlantis use again after spa,but in the meantime try mermaid or serpent,both would be handy against Prism, I beat with Atlantis BBB,.As belbar said don't give up,.good luck to you.

I have no all needed dragons, like Ninja and now i am stuck with Pumpkin, where I am so late only for feeding forever other dragons. As I had no any almost even at lvl 7. I have no chance to make it in time.

Yes need not be an epic.
But yes you are quite out of time, but no harm just try for the fun of it.

Rather than epics I would say it is more important to have the right dragon colors, and the combination too.
Luck is important, because even Diamonds can lose ( still it may have better odds).

However, the tourney was still there. Of course, when I tried to **** Nightmare again with the same epic Eagle, no luck. I spent money to speed my turn several times and after this happened. I'm very unhappy. Surely, something can be done about this problem. It not right. I wish I could just get back the 4 gold I just used to try again.

Yes it happended to me too. when I was using the Halloween version.
So I had to use a Virtue 10, to MM and get the Dragon back again.
I had even placed the Dragon in the nest, but I made a mistake as the normal version had not been updated.
