If there is anything these tournaments have taught me it is that for every opponent there are multiple dragons you can use. The list does narrow and the odds do drop (quite dramatically for some), but the field is not nearly as narrow as one would think. I'm sure you have a wide enough variety of dragon choices to successfully battle. You need luck, time and patience. You can do it!

Has anyone noticed that on the color chart it days that Green has a weakness for Royal, but it also says it has a strength against Royal? What?? Use royal, but don't use Royal???

Origami has been beaten by emerald (you already tried), ninja (who needs a rest), Lotus and Flower so far.
Lotus sounds really good.
Origimi is pink/purple....
Pink is weak against black, gold, fairytale, gemstone and of course champion
Purple is weak against Green, pink, gold, zodiac, royal and champion

In Ninja Tournament he was beaten by da, yin Yang, Dino, Rex, cosmic, rainbow, moon, night, diamond, angel, forest, Saturn, light, infinity, and Lotus.

Lost Trickster to Sapphire. I probably should use Ninja more, but trying not to depend on as much. A lot of players don't have them and it's nice to have options.
Might use Lotus or Ninja next though. Don't want to waste too much time- harder levels coming up and won't be home tonight.

Sometimes I think that the dragons have one element that varies in it strength from battle to battle and from person to person. For instance I used trickster last time. He would be stronger against the blue element in Sapphire. However, this time I think I had to use something strong against Gemstone like a black. Ninja's magic pulled it off for me and it is black magic. That is why I think Lotus would have worked for me also .
And I think this can explain why we can't always get the same results as someone else when we battle the same types of dragons and when we have saving problems and the same dragon comes back again, it's harder to defeat and we usually can't beat it with the same dragon we used before.

It could also explain why we have closer battles and easier battles. Maybe the elements in closer battles are more even in strength; and there is a stronger element in the easier battles.

Emerald, ninja, lotus, flower, landworm (what??? No Valkyrie??? I must have missed it)
Most likely Valkyrie have been used against it.
Hunter, mask, black Swan, and gold would also probably work well against it too.

Sorry to said but Epic form dragons doesn't guarantee to win battles, the main key is you must have Luck & right dragon with colors to beat opponent.And sapphire isn't a Diamond hybrid, and we all have plenty of time,so try Dino, gemstone,Magic, peacock,trickster, genie,rainbow, lotus, amethyst..

I'm level 150 without Diamond & Caesar,..still I won all the tourney so far, don't give up the tourney so easily,I believe eventually you'll win nightmare tourney.Good Luck for the remaining Rounds.

Yes don't give up. Heal your dragons. Use some of your healed ones again. If they're all based around a certain element for instance the blue and that's not working- try attacking the gemstone element. You know some of us have to beat the diamond dragons with baby fires or forests....Turn off your game completely. Take a break. We still have a lot of time left.. You'll never know how far you can go if you give up!!! Look at how far you are now!! Great job!
Ps. We all get discouraged at times. :)

Everything but Diamonds have 10% chance against it. So you can throw baby forests or fires at it if you want.

Guys,i dont like to give advices but the only thing who defeated Pumpkin 14 in normal arena was Trickster M+++.I lost Valkyrie and few more to him.Now its up to u but ill go with Trickster for Pumpkin

I knew my valkyrie should have been epic. :( i have used it three times only, in the 14 matches i have made (well, 18 since i had 4 defeats). Valkyrie won twice but it lost once. :p

Yes go for the colors that are recommended.
HOpe they have won previoius tourneys, Ninja or Valkyrie ?
Last few rounds you can try fire 1 or forest 1. Buy and sell it off it loses.

Try matching the colors that are strongest against it and if you can, the rarity, and use highest level you have.
