Yes. The coloring looks decent but what exactly is vampireish about this dragon besides its theeth? The other halloween dragons look like actual halloween dragons. This one? Not so much. Also, the teeth are barely even noticeable at epic, IMO they should have been white. But I do however like the coloring besides all that.:)

I don't think Zombie dragon will be released. Meanwhile I'm in the agonizingly painful breed for Raven dragon. So far I've got about three corals in a row, and one wizard, and by the looks of it I'm going to have another coral. At least I can still get Carved Pumpkins.

Yeah, i thought the same thing. I think i prefer the blue + purple fail times thought. Red + purple would give us nasty titan.
The best would have been red + blue (magics and tropics and athletics) but that wouldn't make much sense either.

I seem to can't escape Mistmoth at the moment. Had 4 or 5 of them while breeding for the Halloweens. Got them all in the end, three of them (Spider, Headless and Wraith) happened without even really trying for, Boo was quite easy, Zombie as well, Skeleton and Raven a pain, Witch I bought.

I seem to can't escape Mistmoth at the moment. Had 4 or 5 of them while breeding for the Halloweens. Got them all in the end, three of them (Spider, Headless and Wraith) happened without even really trying for, Boo was quite easy, Zombie as well, Skeleton and Raven a pain, Witch I bought.

You really got breeding luck !

With some I had luck, yes, but others have not been easy. Also spend a lot of gold for speeding up.

Began playing in March. Have about 150 dragons now, with not many doubles anymore. A view weeks ago I got Diamond quite by accident, half hoped, I would get it later on, when I have nearly all other dragons, but I won't complain, was sooooo exited when I saw the 44 hours breeding time! :D But now I have some more dragons on my "To breed-list", before I got Diamond, the others were out of reach and did not matter. ;)

The vampire dragon is the ONLY Halloween dragon I bred. On the 4th try using the Aether and Mistmoth.
I tried for witch the whole time, speeding up my fails halfway through. Had to buy it in the last hour.
Zombie, same thing. I spent almost the same gold as it was to buy. So I ended up paying double basically.
The Boo dragon, the one I really wanted, was too much gold to buy. I couldn't do it.
With my bad luck, I'm very surprised I was able to breed the vamp.....
Skeleton, there was no way I could breed a 3 color, so when it went on sale I scooped it up. Along with the spider right before it.
Currently working on the Raven with Night and Diamond. I've not bred any mixed diamonds yet, so I'm praying for a Dark Angel Fail. Or Mercury. Or Anubis. That would be awesome. But I will take any black dragon as a fail. I'm missing the Black Swan, and night elf.... The 2 I want most besides the DA. Not sure if Black Swan is even possible with the combo I'm trying. So any black fail will be perfect because I still need to get lots of gemstones as well, for the crafting black dragons. Tigers Eye, Jade, and Onyx. I only have 1 big black gemstone. I'm not even close to getting those dragons yet.

Not sure why I posted this wall of text. But if I could breed the vamp, I'm sure anybody can!

I'm close to getting the spirit (77 scythes right now), I need 400 gold to buy both the headless and wraith which I will be getting, and the pumpkin are the last of the halloweens I need after raven. I hope I can close it out with only the Boo missed. Unless they want to bring it back to the store with a sale price.....

You can't get black swan with diamond and black because black swan is pink. But you can get raven. I know hou feel because i find it hard to breed those halloween dragons and those black hybrids.

True! Black Swan's element is Pink but the hidden is black! Make sure you take a look at the card first before going for it :p
Night Elf is Black along with Raven! But I'm not sure if you could get Vampire/Mistmoth from Diamond + Night :/

Lotus/titan brought me goblin, night elf n raven one after other. Goblin/illusion gave me Vampire when i tried this combo first time. Good luck!

Those Night & Wizard are beating me up so bad :rolleyes: I actually felt relief when I got a coral fail lol Now back to Night in the den again :rolleyes:

Couldt breed this one in about 20 tries, but got night elf fail (traded for black gem since I had one b4), like 4 illusion fails (traded too), and... a Dark angel which i was very happy with.

My combo is Anubis x nightelf, to avoid magic and water fails.

I got the vampire through a failed breeding. I find it very disappointing that a VAMPIRE would not be black and red. Those are the colors you would expect, considering the vampire lore. Those are the colors displayed on the dragon. Yet, instead, it is ANOTHER blue/purple. Oh well. I can't even trade it for a black gem. :(

Plz help! I play on Android, been trying for Vampire when it FIRST became available, still NOTHING! Keep getting VERY long fails: night dragon 23 hours, wizard 22 hours etc. I've tried basic colors by breeding magic with water, combos like Aether with Mistmoth still NOTHING....any suggestions? (before that i tried for DAYS and speed ups for wraith and never got him either. then i try for metal and get HIM on first try..go figure lol

I think TL should let our dragons roam freely on the island without habitats limitations. We don't need those Habitats TL. Please free our dragons :p

Funny, both this and mistmoth seems to be hard for me, during several tries I failed on 2 nightelf, one DA, (all of them are harder than vampire) and like 4-5 illusions (my combo is anubis x night). I am happy with my "fails", soon my jade should be crafted from those black gems, but no vamp, no mistmoth.

I have been trying to get the Vampire dragon since it came out by using water and magic or night and magic and i was getting lots of wizard fails and corals. Yesterday i gave up and i used my rainbow dragon+skelleton dragon without even thinking what can come out - i just wanted to see a different dragon other than the coral and wizards... and to my suprise it was a 9 hour timer. Never give up hope!

Well, so far I've gotten coral, night, aether, night, night, night using Water and Magic. Trying to avoid using gold to speed breed as I'm saving it for the Tournament in case I need it. Guess I'm not getting Vampire. :( On the plus side, I'll be able to get some black gems out of it. Will only need 16 more to craft the Onyx lol.

Now that I got Boo, I am focusing on getting Vampire dragon. He is adorable!
I intend to use Diamond and Celestial. It gives me 10 possible dragons with most likely fail is Coral - 10 hours.
Other possiblilities that I don't have yet are Aether, Mistmoth, Penumbra, Mercury and Anubis and of course Vampire.

If I use Wizard and Celestial or Magic and Water I get possible Night fail (which I have) instead of Mercury and Anubis. Not as good an option for me. With all those extra Luck dragons, I ought to have lots of good luck.

God luck to all of us trying to breed this dragon!

Vampire's colors are not black and red. They are blue/purple, so Saghaven's combo was valid. Hope that clears up any confusion :)
