More pets available?

Hi, I enjoy FS2 very much, and have spent a little money on it buying gems (would be spending more, but I lost my job >_<) just to show my support for a great game, but I'm wondering if there will be more pets introduced that are purchased with coins rather than gems? I'm level 19, so all I can buy are cats, but I'm expecting that the dogs cost gems too. As much as I like the game, even when I'm gainfully employed again, $10 is a little much to be spending on gems for a single item.

The dogs are available for gems or coins. From memory 240 gems (tan corgi) or 60,000 coins (black corgi).

Yes the dog is for 60,000 coins which is crazy. I've been playing a while now and can barely get the money needed to purchase buildings. Unless there's some secret to making coins that I haven't discovered yet. It would be nice if they informed us of the cats being massive gems before inviting us to spend $3000 coins on a useless building now that I can't store or sell. It takes up so much space for something I will obviously never be able to use. :(

First dog is $60,000 second is $100,000 not sure about third...
