Coins Disappearing

So about an hour a half ago I had around 110,000 coins. I leave the program and come back about 10 minutes later and I am suddenly down to around 105,000 coins. 15 minutes ago I had almost 107,000 coins, I once again leave the program and come back and I am again down 5000 coins. So, within the last 2 hours I have had 10,000 coins just disappear for no reason. Very frustrating. Can somebody tell me what is going on and how to fix this. I cannot afford to have coins disappear on me!

It has happened again! I have started taking screen shots and it shows that I am losing over 5000 coins each time it happens.

Make sure you are playing a current version of the game.

Before you exit the game after collecting, go visit a neighbor to make sure your game progress is saved.

Should I contact anybody to get my coins back?

I did what you said, even updated and lost over 3000 coins during the update! The game is stealing my coins!!!!! Since I just paid for a batch of 150000 coins it means the came is stealing my money.

I am losing 10,000 coins everytime i log off and go to another game. I cant get past 64,000 before im back at 53,000 something, then the goals repeat over again this has been happening all day im ready to delete the game im so frustrated!!!. Im using an ipad mini IOS 7.0.3, I reinstalled software and the same thing keeps happening, also my food keeps disappearing everytime the game resets, i have to plant it again and spend double the coin. HELP!!!!
